Why would a game give you viruses?

If you want to get paranoid, yes, developers could go crazy and put a virus on a patch on purpose. I can't say it's impossible :P
But that's not gonna happen.

You're absolutely crazy to

You're absolutely crazy to think a MMO like Spiral Knights, that a few million (Thousand?*) people play, has a virus.

Firefox isn't the god of anti-virus. It says that if your java plugin is out of date or you're downloading an exe

Greetings,

Spiral Knights will not be inviting any viruses or other nasties on to your computer. The warning you see is a generic one to make sure that you know and trust the source of the download. If you don't feel conformable with the prompt you can always use the downloadable client which does not rely on the browser plugin and can be launched from your desktop.

I just tried launching spiral knights today, and norton detected a virus called"Suspicious Cloud", and because of it norton won't allow me to launch it? Does anyone else know about this?

Yes, Spiral Knights contains viruses. Gullible also has seven letters and we can stop the passing of time using strawberry jam.

(No, it has no viruses. Also don't trust Norton)
