Well, hi guys! I was on a really long pause from the Vault after doing other things on other sites, blablabla.
But, I decided to drop Cake-Walk for now (getting too dark for me T^T), and come up with a fast-paced, quickly-as-it-goes Roleplay! Yes, it's in total violation of the pact, but then again, it is going to be free-form. Speaking of free-form...
~~~
This is going to be a completely free-form RP, so the players themselves must manage their own inventory and character's abilities. Don't expect me to help you out on that one. There is no combat system, so you'll have to do everything manually. No rolls will save you XD.
Anyhow, since it is just an open RP, there's only a few rules to follow:
-Join in at any time. Yes, deus ex machina away XD
-No powerplaying. Powerplaying means that you're taking over another guy's character. Dash a big nonoes >.<
-Stay true to the character. If your character does not have a final flourish from the beginning, don't suddenly pop one out XD At least try to make your character have a means of obtaining items. That is, unless your character carries everything. Same thing for abilities. If your character is wearing clunky armor, don't say that he can dodge bullets. That'd be real stupid XD (Seriously, imagine that happening.)
~~~
Tips:
OOC - Out of Character
BIC - Back in Character
@playername - if two players' characters are nearby, you can specify your actions to one person. Also works as "at [object/characternname/NPC]"
Italics - Using <.e.>. Without the periods to make words italics. Used for thought and emphasis.
Logic - Using your brain XD

Scenario:
At an unknown time after the crash of Skylark, the Swarm spread to the levels above, conquering each stratum one by one. The Knights were alarmed, and after much calculations, found out that the current state of the Order would not survive directly on Cradle, lest they become overrun by the Swarm. Thus, the Order's finest scientists and engineers worked night and day to devise a plan, a plan that could ensure the Knights' survival.
Their solution was to carve Haven's support beams away, and allowing it float using the polarity of the planet and the land mass. True to the theory, it worked. Haven became a floating fortress for the Knights and Strangers, completely protected by levitating safely above the Swarm's grasp.
A couple of months after this, Haven was running low on supplies. The Strangers could not gather any more supplies, for the whole of Cradle was too dangerous to stay on, let alone live there permanently. Fortunately, the lands across the Chasm were untainted, and so Haven landed there. The Knights were back at the rescue camp. However, the Rescue Camp hadn't bothered to expand. So, in the meantime, nothing beyond the settlement was mapped and scouted. The Knights would have to risk unknown dangers, or the Swarm-infested Clockworks.
They chose the latter.
The solution to this dilemma was to build a massive fleet of small pods and fighters from the escape pods nearby, and then making daily raids on the Clockworks. The Knights use a Deconstruction Zone, also known as "The Platform", as a forward operating base for such raids.
You, among a couple of other thousands of Knights, risk lives each and every day for the long-term survival of the Knights. Every raid poses risk, every crumb of food solving a conflict. But is it enough?

Applications - They are COMPLETELY CUSTOM FROM YOU. So, add any extra parameters if you want to your applications, and see you at the Platform!
The Platform is a massive Deconstruction Zone, at least twenty times the size of normal deconstruction zones. The elevator leading downwards has been blown off by the Knights, leaving only the four bridges [North, South, East, West] to support the Platform's weight. Knights, Gremlins, and other creatures come here, seeking asylum from the Swarm, so there is always a diverse host of interesting characters to choose from. Here, people may rest their tired bones, ship in their supplies, and so forth.
A personnel plane hovers at the North-West part of the Platform, and then lands softly. The door from the plane whirs open, revealing the newest batch of Knights from the Rescue Camp. These will be the new Knights and others (you guys) that will conduct raids, do research, and defend Cradle. Good luck!
Rules:
-Use logic.
-No powerplaying
-Have fun!
