NOTE: This is my first post

MAIN PROBLEM: This game is awesome, but I hate the fact that it's a "casual" game type..

*Mist Energy - It ruins the momentum of players, limiting the playing time which really sucks :P

My suggestion: Take off the energy requirement when entering a dungeon, by then, I assure this game will rise to fame

This game is a little little* boring, It should have a much complex mission system; It is what drives gamer to play a certain game.

*Progress - Come on! Tier blah blah blah? It's a long term mission. Nothing much to do, quite boring

My Suggestion: Add more missions and NPCs, Put some Looting, Talking, Killing missions that varies in the user's ability
Eg. Looting - Wegner ask you to get 10 light shards cause blah blah blah, (up it's your story board)
REWARD - 1,300 crowns and (Any 1* Recipes)

I can say, the items here are really cool but, It's quite in a small number

*Small Variety - add more equipments, also add a category of "Magical" weapon

My Suggestion: I don't know on how will they name it, but I think something like Staffs, Wands, and any other talisman
Eg. Staffs - more powerful than swords but slower than a hatchet, It has very VERY strong charge attack, It's range, it has an unique elemental attack
(Connected to Staff) Charge attacks - some are AOE, High rate of causing ailments, high damage
(Connected to Staff) Side effect: reduced defense: moderate

Guild system are awesome, but it's useless if you have a guild that has nothing to achieve for

My Suggestion: Put some Guild War system, depends on how you name it, ofcourse there's a certain reward when your guild wins, not only fame, we're talking about tokens and crowns, the grand price is 100ce(EACH MEMBER) WOOOOHOOO!!!

It's cool when you have a pet, the connection of the user and the pet :)

My Suggestion: Have an awesome pet system, pet that does all the looting for you!! also gives you special bonuses :)

Charge attacks are cool...

My Suggestion: Add some more skill!! A game could be boring if your character has only one skill, I mean, Its drives most players to play a game, cause they're amazed by the dazzling effect and big numbers coming out from the screen

Most people can't play this game, I told them to read the "Technical Support" but uh... sadly, they still can't play...

My Suggestion: Make it like any other game, I don't know how to explain this, but something like you have to download the whole thing to play it that mostly eats up to 1GB of space or something like that...(sorry if it's kinda blur @_@)

honestly, I really don't like java games :P
A crack in the head if you have slow internet speed

Fix those things, tons of player will play ^__^

energy is the main force that

energy is the main force that funds OOO removing it will cause death to the game.... having alternatives that require no energy on the other hand is a different story

i find the repetitive decent into the clockworks pretty good you never know what u will find even if thats your doom. adding complexity is the problem here it adds more strain on the Devs that need to juggle more elements

im sure they are working on more weapons there's no doubt about that but they need time and planning to implement (this game is about a month old so just hold your horses) as for the magic, im not opposed but i feel that magic has no place in the lore of Spiral Knights

you mean download the client setup program and install onto your computer? i dont see why not but i'm not in charge... as for those that can't play they need to learn how to research the cause of the problem

a bout between guilds isn't a bad idea but it needs work

if you have slow internet why bother playing online? it only causes heartache for both you and everyone around you.

Spiral Knights is marketed to

Spiral Knights is marketed to be a casual game with some hardcore appeal. As Monkey wrote, energy is how Three Rings earns money- SK is not a subscription game like WoW- so that isn't going away.
As for your suggestions on weapons, there is a fair variety already, if you consider the various types of damage that different swords and guns do, as well is unique charge attacks on various swords and guns- not to mention bombs cover the whole AoE thing. You are given two weapon slots for a reason; go round out your arsenal (or buy a third, or fourth weapon slot).
Lastly, SK lists minimum requirements. I forget whether a good Internet connection is one of the requirements, but that is more or less a must with MMOs. SK also has a documented issue of upload spikes causing lag.

That said, some of the suggestions I do like: More quests would be nice, as well as repeatable quests (with cooldown) to get particular rare materials; another thing that could be done is rather than selling the standard Spiral Order recipes (Kozma), have Kozma give out quests where the reward is the recipe. The effect is the same, because you are still required to burn energy the accomplish the quest. Hopefully more quests are in the works. More guild stuff is probably in the works too, as right now the only functionality is basically an expanded friends list, and a private chat.

THAT IS JUST UNFAIR :(

I know that it is there marketing strategy, but why do other game has no energy requirement yet they earn alot of money?

they should kinda fix that system, I really want to play it for 16 hours!!

but I can't :'(

it's limiting my addiction xD

anyway still, this game is awesome because of it's animation :D

What I meant there is that about that "Mission" system...

I don't like the "Progress" thing you know, It's so "Long" you know :P

They should add some short term missions

and internet? my internet is not that slow(average speed of .70mpbs), It's my observation that alot of players has slow internet speed, and this game kinda requires above moderate speed of internet...

about the problem, It adds hassle, I find problems on every computer with each different problems...

if you are paying about 60

if you are paying about 60 bucks a month for your internet it should be more then decent speed. We have the Plus package from Charter.

You should also be getting very close to the speeds you are paying for via ISP, if you aren't, you are paying for a waste of time and your being robbed. Switch your ISP's if you are unsatisfied, there is never really ONLY 1 in an area, especially in the US.

yeah, here in this country, the most fastest internet could be offer is only only 12mpbs, and it's not in the affordable price, my internet rates about 1mpbs and it costs about 999php, the most common price and plan :P

999 PHP = 23.06 USD

The Energy takes too long

The Energy takes too long to replenish.

I know this doesn't seem to bother some people because they can fork over the cash to buy energy, but come on, 22 hours to replenish from no energy. That's just too damn long. If people can't afford to pay cash then they're not going to be able to play for more than an hour a day. I just don't feel that a "free" MMORPG should cost more to play for a few days than WoW requires to play for a month.

That's not to say i don't understand three rings trying to make money, especially after working on this game for 4 years, but I just don't feel that this game shows the content to justify the type of prices people have to pay for what seems to me as a small game.

I suggest they lower the time of energy recharge to just a few hours, open a marketplace system where people can buy item's instead of energy, and for god's sake please throw in an expansion pack that makes the world a little bigger.

but that's just my opinion.

I don't know about you... Are you playing in an internet café? We are of the same country, and my residence's ISP connection is pretty decent (well, I get to always use it solo, and I don't touch the residence's subscription info, so a bit bias here). Expect heavy traffic when in an iCafé...

BTW, The Missions are a bit cranky to implement, since the clockworks generates random levels at many points, it will take you more effort in completing one "quest".

Energy Comsumption is the life of this game. I do my best to play only when I got a full mist tank, and burst all my playtime with it.

BTW, This is a casual game, and changing the gameplay means a new game.
