Hello, I am new to these forums but I have played the game for a long time now. Right now my Steam client has been bugged and decided not to work for me EVER.

I was wondering how do I play the game without it trying to run running through steam. While still being able to play as my knight.

Another note: I probably will have to reinstall the game. My Steam client made me so angry I may have deleted the files in a fit of rage.

There's this button at top of the website that says play.
It'll download the game.

Once it's open you click connect via facebook.
It'll open the forums.

You login on the forums via steam.
Silly game doesn't know the difference between facebook and steam. Your steam knight will login as if it was from facebook.

A GM (Clotho <3) may come and tell you there are security risks with that, but it's your only option.

Lols at game's login confusion.

I'll give it a shot. I found a way to get the setup.exe to install the game.

im not entirely worried about the security risks. seeing as I don't really use facebook at all. (last login to facebook was almost 2 years ago :P)

Hm, the workaround doesn't work for me. Says to check the "log in via Steam" checkbox, which doesn't exist. Using no password, my Steam password, or my old merged SK password all yield "invalid password' for me.

Oh, I think it's because my account has been merged, and it is trying to log my steam ID as my old merged account.

you may be right

I do believe that if you try logging in with a merged account it will show up empty and your merged knights will only be able to be used with the steam account.
