If anyone remembers my old "Taming the Wolver Clone's" thread from back in the day, this comes from a similar place.

Today I've had the pleasure of playing a couple LD matches with extremely chill players (namely Lechery and Vanbamf) who have embraced unusual or underused weapons with open arms. These weapons included the Arc Razor, Striker, and Toxic Catalizer.

My goal here today is to establish a gathering of Lockdown players (T2) who are willing to occasionally take part in UTTer games, where we shed our toothpicks and hammers and draw our peculiar armaments.

I would like to list here what I have noticed are underused or unusual weapons in T2 LD. Please comment with any more that I've missed!

Swords:
-Arc Razor
-Striker
-Rigadoon/Flamberge
-Calibur
-Wrench Wand
-2* Edges
-Cautery Sword
-3* Troikas

Guns:
-Toxic/Industrial Catalyzer
-Antigua
-Magnus
-3* Autoguns

Bombs:
-Shard/Splinter/Crystal Bombs and their variants
-Vortex Bombs
-Deconstructor
-0* Firecracker, Cold Snap (I'm leaving these here because I believe they could become viable play-styles with enough experimentation in T2)

I want to establish a UTT network, so that in the lobby before a game, if everyone agrees to UTT terms and picks a specific weapon (or class) to use for the match, these weapons can come back onto the battlefield.

Yay!

I've added the weapons suggested, but I'd like to stick a disclaimer on the Troika lines.

Here we go:
At the 3* level, Grintovec and Kamarin are identical in reach and damage to the Sealed Sword. The thing that makes them inferior is the very slightly slower swing. I have comparisons on Grintovec and Sealed in my Taming the Wolver Clones thread, if anyone wants to necro it :P

Armor would be awesome too, though I'm far too lazy to start a list. I personally enjoy using Quicksilver, and have seen Skelly, Magic, and Chroma all used to great effect. Jelly'd be fine too, but I see it pretty often so I'm not sure if it's quite "unusual".

Be sure to switch up what class you're using too! We did one game where 3/4 of our team went Guardian with Arcs. It was great! Try out new styles and weapons! That's the whole point of this "treaty".

I'm in, myself. Even if I'll have to go craft a few other weapons to fit the qualifications.. Eh well. :P
Also, the Dark Reprisal mkII would probably fit as well because of the invincitinks in LD causing it to not be used. ;)

Blaster is really powerful (imo) since it's hard to dodge; I've used it to good effect and think it might be too powerful to put on this list. I can throw it up there, but just like Troika, big disclaimer :P

Also, if you guys have heard abt VLR, the GvG Lockdown res-restricting, polaris limiting playstyle, I'd like UTT to follow it's roll. While creating a list of people who are into UTT is entirely possible, I don't know if I want to maintain such a long list XD. Rather, I'd like to just spread the word around as much as possible, so that we can have more fun in RLD matches.

Of course, we could try this in T2 GVG as well, if anyone's interested/

Yes, we need dedicated UTT players

This is awesome, like a mainstream Hipster movement. Funny thing is, I used a spur and splinter bomb in my T2 LD days.
And you NEVER see 2*/3* plate mail in LD. I love my electron bomb. Jelly isn't unusual, just not as frequently used. Catalyzer is all too rare everywhere, but I love mine. :D

I'll list antigua with the same reason you gave for blaster, personally. It's weak compared to Argent and Sentenza in T3 LD, I give you that, but it's a nice sidearm. Still, using it alone would be quite the challenge with the sad 1/2 pip done to Duskers (less with brute jellies? more with non-piercing defense?)

Rigadoon and Flamberge is basically a 2* flourish with status chance. Not much difference imo, if you're throwing troika in there might as well put it for 2* flourish. It's underused somewhat, but for obvious reasons.

I think you meant static flash. Lightning capacitor is the 3* shock mist bomb... Which is pretty effective if you have it. Firecracker and Cold Snap status are actually not all that bad, but the damage is kinda low. Dark Reprisal and Dark Reprisal MK II should make the list as well.

All that said, I don't mind making a loadout for this, but I wouldn't expect myself to be playing much of it anyway...

Armor ideas that came to mind include:
-Plate
-Magic
-Skelly
-Chroma
-Cobalt
-Quicksliver/Brute Jelly (These are actually very powerful, so I hesitate to put them here.)
-Cyclops + Fencing. No srsly. Do it.
