Currently, it seems like every single icey high-end enemy causes STRONG Freeze. As we all know, it's impossible to be immune to it. I'd like to suggest that most sources of freeze be reduced to at most medium to make frost resistance more useful. I was especially disappointed to find out I wasn't immune to freeze inflicted by Devilites in the Danger Mission, rendering my investment in a set of UV'd Skelly duds more or less worthless.

Mind you, a total revamp for the status might be in order but that takes actual serious planning and effort. What I'm suggesting should be much quicker to implement.

no.

if you want to be invincible, you have to go to another game. this game has still a few forms of challenge and nobody, repeat, NOBODY will ever agree to take them down.
P.S.: you are practically starting a flame war. run. run away now.

Eh.

I fail to see what the challenge is. The outcome is literally the same whether you have frost resistance or not: the enemies attack you and free you from the bind. Even if the hit was absorbed by your shield. I have 12 points of Freeze resistance and it fails to cut the timer short enough for me to get free on my own; the enemies always, without fail, are the ones that break the ice by whacking my shield. Frost resistance is useless. I'm only suggesting a band-aid.

Yup

Shield resistance is best put on your shields.

On your armour, all the good it'll do is make you immune to shankles and shivermist.
