There must be a "block that clears adjacent blocks when hit" to the south. They glow blue.

There is, yes.
There is a ghost block to the south, I believe, or maybe a gold key gate, it's been a while since I've run that map, but I remember that treasure room. You have to open that without being able to see the treasure yet. Once you can see the treasure from the place in the screenshot, you've already gone past the party button one-way gate and can't get to it.

lol you made the same mistake
lol you made the same mistake I did the first time I solo that place. It's south of that place which you can't backtrack, so carefully check to see if you didn't miss any blue tile. Also I believe your gun can't reach the blue tile so just throw a vial at it.

Before stepping on the party button, you must walk to the left, and shoot/throw pot at tha blue ghost block. That will clear that path for you..

Looks like you missed something down below probably. And if I remember correctly at this point you have already gone over a party button too :(
