Warning this is truly game changing.

I feel i should introduce this subject by saying that our current way to gain crowns is very boring.

Now I have an idea to make the game both exiting and give it that role playing aspect.

It's free roaming. you venture out on the land where there are multiple types of lands i.e : Shadow,Forest,Cities Just like arcade. Now Along the way you will run into vendors these vendors will sell unique recipes (Such as our basil) but not only that but during free roam you can run into other players such as you would in haven. But now i know this would require a very powerful server and is costly so my idea to reduce lag in this case were multiple players are interacting with each other is to treat each ''Free roaming level'' as it's own room and say after 8 people enter that room is closed. In free roam to create that effect it would turn between day and night cycles leaving knights vulnerable to attacks from say wolves during the night if they are in a forest. Now I would also suggest that along the paths and in the different types of land can spawn rare and unique mobs. These mobs like the black kat implementation would have a rare chance to drop a mat/recipe or even tokens (What type i don't know)

NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING THIS WILL RUIN THE ECONOMY. Ah but it wont as you see the longer you spend in the wilderness the more mist/ce you loose as while you venture you will cross giant ravines which will cost you 20 ce per lift ( So 60 ce to go down to t3). But once you're down there you can remain down there for as long as you want seeing that you don't die.

Now i feel this is going to be hard on newer players and boring for experienced players if i don't say how tiers would work.

Since now we are traveling on land the fields and areas close to haven would have a low level (T1) While you cross ravines it will get harder and so on

Now to give it that end game spice. In t3 land which is a barren land there will be no map to guide you through until you explore them. But it wont be in vain as in this area that you can explore you can find a boss these bosses will randomly spawn once you enter this place and attack

So let me put my confusing ideas a little more ordered

-Area 1 (T1) (20ce to travel)

-No hidden areas
-Easy mobs
-Different areas such as forest mainly

Area 2 (T2) (40ce to travel)

-Fewer hidden areas
-Slightly more aggressive mobs
-Areas such as cities,forest,etc

Area 3 (T3) (60ce to travel)

-1 Hidden area with a super rare mob in it.
-Very aggressive mobs ( Much harder than current t3)
-All types of areas.

**NOTE LIKE CLOCKWORKS THE AREAS WILL CHANGE PLACE EVERY FEW DAYS AS NOT TO PROMOTE FARMING OF RARE AREAS.**

-As a note i would like to add that once you enter this boss area you will not join the other party or this will cause confusion when it comes to boss areas you are allowed 4 people per run and it's closed after that.

-You are allowed to join other people whilst they are doing that level as the mobs will spawn all the time but spawning may vary to the time of day.

-Thanks for reading post feedback.

Or you could buy/download Skyrim :P

Really, Spiral Knights has it's style, what you're suggesting is a completely different game that isn't spiral knights.
