Ahem. The Snarble-axe. Excuse the terrible pun. Anyway, I had this weapon idea
as an alternate sword for the snarby set. It would work like most heavy swords. It
would deal fittingly-heavy normal damage and also some shadow damage.

Rank: 5*
Alchemy recipe: Khorovod (lvl 7+), 14 dark shards, 5 red shards, 2 heavy gears, 2 iron wood
Level 5+ bonus: charge time reduction: low
Level 10 bonus: Charge time reduction: medium

1st attack: Exactly the same as anything in the Troika series. 250 base damage

2nd attack: 3 forward spins, moving you forward about 3.5 squares. 287 base damage.

Charge attack: Just like any of the troika-series weapons. However, it also causes
a series of 10 snarbolax spikes to emerge from the ground in a row
in the direction you were aiming (Basically emulates its burrowing attack).
Each of these spikes deals about 54 base piercing damage, and can reach
about 6 squares ahead of the player. The hit itself deals 385 damage, although
there is no follow-up blast.

Brilliant!

I love it!! Though any idea what it would look like or just a re-colored trioka, khorovod. Or would it have its 'own' style like rigid edges like spikes? You could do a link to a drawing or something, could draw more attention if people knew what it looked like.

The normal+shadow actually makes it a faust. Charge has a different visual effect but is also similar.
Projectiles moving forward in the direction you're facing....

@ Little-Juances True, it

@ Little-Juances

True, it does have a lot of things similar to the Faust. However, it also has a
unique second attack (multiple spins while moving forward) and does not curse
the target or the user. Also, it has the overhead smash characteristic of
Troika-series swords. But yes, it has a few similarities.

@ Mtax

Yeah...I don't know. It's basically a snarby variant within the
troika series, and a troika/kamarin is too easy to acquire to be used
in a 5* recipe.

ok.

1 khorovod level 10 for a 5*, and the recipe misses a 5* material.
2 total damage of the combo: 250+ 284*3= 1102. too much.
3 normal attack: normal-shadow. charge attack: piercing. erm, no. stick to one. no weapon deals more than 1 specialized damage.

Oh, so cleaver...

I was thinking it would look more like the Heavy Hatchet. Since it's dark and heavy, it could also be cold, though what it gains in differentiating from Gran/Faust it more than loses in differentiating from Triglav. I would really like to see some Shadow damage on the "Dark" Briar Barrage, Thorn Blade and Shield, though. It would still look cute with Radiant Silvermail, Pulsar and Sun Shards.
