Yo guys, I'm Hadi and I'm an Elemental Defender. As you all know from perusing Hall of Heroes, an Elemental Defender is one of the 9 classes of Spiral Knights. (Striker, Gunslinger, Bomber, Specialist, Cobalt Knight, Guardian, Elemental Defender, Shadow Defender and Piercing Defender), and I have gone down the very equally valid path of being an Elemental Defender, because elemental damage has always been the main problem for many important missions, floors,PVP ans Lockdown. Here's my guide:
-Work your way to the Grey Owlite Shield.
-Work your way to the Devine/Grey Feather set.
-If you want a little more offensive power go for Chaos set.

I want to do a Red Roarmulus Twins run and I just can't find any suitable armour for it. I've looked at Heater Shield, and while it protects against elemental, it won't help me for the fire or the shock. I've look at Vog Cub, Volcanic Demo, Volcanic Salamander and Volcanic Plate. While they'll protect against fire and elemental, they won't do anything about all the shock I find there. Mercurial Demo has the opposite problem of Volcanic Demo and will protect against the shock but not the fire.

Any advice? Where would I be able to find stuff that protects me against all the things in Red Roarmulus Twins?

What is your defense against a Striker insult? And why do you need weapons if you're a defender? Is that not the job of the Cobalt Knight, Gunslinger, Striker, Demo, Guardian, and Specialist?

Is there an elemental armor that protects against Chokers' status? What shield would you recommend for them specifically?

In the grim, dark future. There is only Chaos. And Charge-spam. Also, you must be really powerful against vines and fences, as Fehzor pointed out. God help you if they work together though. As for actual defense, who needs it? Chaos and Swifty is all that is needed for almost any weapon. When you hit the glass ceiling in terms of improving your skill, offense is generally better than defense, unless you have lots o' latency or are getting Zerg-rushed.
