This is an idea for an event that doubles the crown payout mat drop chance and equipment drop chance! It is a grindfest! This would last the same as any other event.

Sure, raising the price of the CE even higher. Society would collapse.
If you want to grind, go pay a visit to Vanaduke and he would listen. (Or smash you)
If you want more stuff do what the title says: GRIND GRIND AND GRIND! If you grind more, basically you can have a "better mat and equipment drop chance."
Footnote: Grind means to do over again. Supposedly, increasing the number of things found during a run (That's what she said.) doesn't fit "grinding."
A more appropriate thing to do is to lower the cost of energy required traveling via elevator.
