We all know how we run Firestorm Citadel 42 times a week with nothing to heat because we're all boring like that. Scientific analysis have concluded that 140% of all generated heat is unused. That's a lot of wasted heat, isn't it? What should we do with this leftover heat? Well, we've got one place where it's overflowing. We don't need the heat here. Where is it needed, then? Where it's underflowing, of course! Is that even a word? I don't know!
I've spent four years on the field, helping those in need all across and incross Cradle. I've been to everything from remote Stranger villages to the great colony, helping those in need. It might not have paid much or at all, but bringing smiles to others is enough of a reward to me. I even adopted a Mewkat once after carrying it out of a fire in a Clockwork Passage. Enough about my travels though, let's get to the point.
The place in greatest need of help on and in all of Cradle is without a doubt the Emberlight orphanage. Thanks to the efforts of the order, they managed to make it through the last two winters, but what about before we landed? Seven years ago, the winter was extremely harsh and two Wolver babies perished in the cold. A true tragedy. That wasn't the first time it happened but hopefully it will be the last if we decide to act now! What I'm proposing is that all Knights are equipped with a heat container. If no gear is heated, heat will be put in this container. Upon returning to Haven, the heat container is emptied and the heat is sent to Emberlight. Of course, all leftover heat shouldn't be sent to the Emberlight orphanage, we don't want to repeat the Almirian tragedy. The orphanage isn't the only place in need of heat in Emberlight and there are plenty of other places in Cradle that are in need of heat. From Emberlight, the heat could be redistributed to reach these places. Let's do something for the good of all living creatures, fellow Knights!
I was thinking that if you generate too much heat without having anything to use it on, you simply catch fire.
This is an option as well.
