First of all let me start off by saying that I'm sorry if this has been previously posted, but I would like a clear-cut answer.

With that out of the way, is there any way I can get OCH without using RL money, meaning I can buy it with cr/ce from another player? Any hax? I'm not on Steam.

Ty for help in advance. :)

Nope, you need either steam or a credit card to get OCH here.

Or... you could go to Korea and play in their servers.

This brings on a new set of questions ;)

2.) Would I be able to keep my current knight if I decided to use Steam? Or would I have to start over? D:

3.) Would I be able to download Steam, get OCH, then delete Steam right after getting OCH and be able to keep my knight? Srry Steam but I don't want u on my computer :O

Trade ce with another player by using steam trade.
Yes.
Yes, you can log in to a steam account using the normal client.

There is a steam FAQ on the wiki.

Here's a link: link to steam FAQ one section lists the steps to link your account with steam.

Paradoxes!

Thanks for clearing up 1 and 2, but I have a question about 3, as Troupe and the FAQ are telling me different things.

The FAQ says this:
Binding an existing Spiral Knights account to a Steam account cannot be undone.

My final question is this: how would I log on to my knight after deleting Steam? Would I use my normal username and pass? I really can't have Steam on my computer and don't want my knight to be lost forever.

You can't convert Steam accounts back, so Steam needs to stay, I'm afraid.

That said, I'm a Steam player, and it's not all that bad.

3 is incorrect

There is NO way to play on a converted account from the online client. If you were to start a new account from Steam, then it would be possible though a bug, but if you have converted an account that was previously normal to Steam that bug does not work.
