Hi everybody Atholl here.
this time i'll try to suggest some fixes for the FoV.

OLD FoV:
-Less damage than the other split elemental/normal damaging sword.
-less speed than the other average speed swords (es. Leviathan) but still having the same combo.
-Chance to receive fire.
+Good chance of inflicting Strong Fire.
+Great charge attack.

FIXED Fov
-Less damage than the other split elemental/normal damaging sword.
-less speed than the other average speed swords (es. Leviathan) but still having the same combo.
-Chance to receive fire.
+Good chance of inflicting Strong Fire.
+Great charge attack.
+Increased damage against enemies affected by Fire status.
+Increased damage when you are affected by Fire status.

The main idea here is to take advantage of the status inflicting swings and the self chance to take fire to boost up the overall power of the sword.

Yes kinda, it's more like have the opportunity to take advantage of what it does best : Set things on fire, Set YOU on fire.
And also sinergizes very well whith other weapons (ex. Ash of Agni) and, why not, with other players and also fire traps and mobs can boost your damage output.

They could just "nerf" the Fire down to moderate.

Its a good notion to, but then players won't use the sword, they'll just equip it as a trinket and ash of agni things. If anything, this should be a trinket. I would suggest something more like-

FIXED Fov
+Same speed as cutter line
+Deals twice as much damage as divine avenger charge per hit
+Deals similar knockback to bab on charge, but no damage.
+Same charge time as biohazard
+Charge attack also kicks players from the party, regardless of whether you are the leader.
+Deals fire to every enemy within sight regardless of whether they are immune to fire, or otherwise vulnerable.
+Damage bonus high versus gremlins

The best part...

The best thing I've seen the Fang of Vog do is light my friend on fire like 20 times in one mission. I was laughing so hard that I was almost in tears, He kept being like "It normally doesn't do that." And then he'd light up again XD True story and seriously, it is a true story...

Make it an elemental, fire-inflicting DVS without the ghost blades, keep the current charge.
