Yeahhhhh Dual Weilding..... Do you prefer having 1 sword and a sheild or 2 swords that will doubble the damage but no sheild? This will affect lockdown also... Dual weilders will have no powers but will have stronger damage...
I just surfed the net and found this asian server for Spiral Knights...
But its not together with the real SK servers so you need to make a new account.... and its in Japanese I cant understand... Is this even legit or is it a copy of the game?

nope.
dual wielding will not work. because WHB+GF. and even it the case same weapon type or same weapon, you have to re-do all animations. also, no shield= death.

Dude. One, it's Chinese. Two, You trade legibility for greater latency. OOO lent(I don't know a proper term) SK to GC, just so Asian Players can play on greater latency, and not get another server. Do you even know how servers cost?
On the plus side, LATENCY IS GREAT w00t! ~
