Why aren't there any mission to do with the core? I think I'm speaking for a lot of people when I say I would like a mission that would have involved the core

Pay no attention to my nationality in my name.
Well....... to be honest, the storyline hinted that it was possible for player to enter the core (sorry if I'm being a Captain Obvious). If anything, the 'Core Mission(s)' could involve King Tinkinzar, The Swarm, or even The Mysterious Voice from Sanctuary.
Plus recall this game is still a WIP.
(Feel free for hating me for this idea below, i don't like the idea either)
One idea i had for entering the core was to receive the 4 Voice Modules from All Shadow Lair.
Another idea i had was facing the Swarm Core using a copy of players Body and weapons (Y'know, 'Defeat the darkness within you')

yes, Shadow Lairs
As Blue-Bajan alludes to, Shadow Lairs have something to do with the core. It's not very well fleshed out, though.
People have been asking for Three Rings to "open the core" ever since the game launched. I have been reading threads just like this one for two years now.

If the gameplay is about killing monsters, does it matter if it's on the core or elsewhere?
