This isn't necessarily a game-ruining issue, but I just tend to receive a lot of lag when there are a lot of explosions, or just a lot going on.
I.E. Arena's, or Danger Zones.
It's just something I want to be able to run smoothly during, since I can't properly block/attack when I'm moving at low FPS. Any suggestions?
Here are my specs:
Max OS X 10.6.7
4 GB RAM
500 (260/240) GB Space (Partitioned into a Win 7 Ultimate)
2.93 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120
Res 1920 x 1200
Any help appreciated, I want to be able to run the game as smooth as possible. If you think I'd be better off using my Windows Partition I'll give it a try, but remember the specs don't chance, just the OS.
Are you actually running Spiral Knights at 1920 x 1200? If so than the simplest thing would be to run the game at a lower resolution or in a window, perhaps even with lowered detail. With that graphics card you are simply running out of display muscle to run the game smoothly.
You could try the Windows partition and the most recent NVidia drivers as they may be a tad more optimized. Though I doubt things will become silky smooth.
