I try to start spiral knights and the game opens then closes about two the one second after it launches from steam.

I think it is a problem with java, but I cant figure out how to fix. the game wont launch from the website either.

things I have already done.

-reinstalled spiral knights
-reinstalled java
-restarted computer/steam

i'm not sure how to fix this issue as the game was launching properly a few days ago but now it doesn't seem to want to launch.

I am using a surface pro tablet PC and have windows 8

I fixed it! there seemed to have been a problem with my graphics card I rolled back the driver to a previous date, then the game started working for me again. that's very odd I wonder what happened...

I installed an older version

I installed an older version of java the games seems to be working on the site now (its downloading the patches) but the game still wont launch out of steam. the screen flashes black twice then nothing loads up or launches I'm still not sure how to fix this, ill try reinstalling the game again and see what happens.

[edit] it seems to be happening with the website version of the game as well (it flashes black twice but nothing appears after) I'n not sure what I need to do, some help is much appreciated.
