You should be able to choose whether you want to play the regular arcade or battle arena for battling monsters.

Aren't there a few missions that do send you to arenas anyways?
Rise or Fall, The gauntlet. I only remember those but I'm sure there are a few more.

Yes I do read the wiki.
I for one don't like arenas because its the only level that makes me lag badly.
Follow Juances, as there are obviously a whole lot of missions that send to arenas, like... dammit forgot the name. But I know it's in one of the missions when you're ranked Champion/Defender Elite....

I have a good computer and good internet; my problem is latency, which only trolls me in arenas.
