Surely OOO didn't plan ahead the Stormy Promo because of this storm.
Not sure if OOO could have rushed the promo because of the storms here in Oklahoma, either. They surely would have mentioned it if there was any relation.

a) The Stormy

a) The Stormy promo stuff was in production way before, and is (as announced) intended as a loose tie-in with the introduction of the dash and bash moves.

b) Even if we could churn out a promo in a couple of days to try to cash in on a tragic disaster, we would not do so.

This.
From the sounds of it, those storms hit on the 20th. If you need proof, I know the promo costumes have existed as models since the 14th, and from the sounds of it were likely in production long before that.

@Shamanala: There was a bit

@Shamanala:
There was a bit more to it than "oh just another storm." From varied sources, it's the biggest/worst tornado in Oklahoma's history. For those of you who pay attention (USA) remember Joplin? Worse than that, minus the death toll.

Not to mention this tornado took nearly the exact same path as the "famous" May 3rd, 1999 tornado in Oklahoma as well.

So no, it's bigger than a mere lightning strike.

Welp

I live about 3 or 4 miles south of where the tornado touched down, and let me tell you, that [stuff] sucked.
