I don't think I have yet to see a topic on this matter yet, if I missed an old topic, sorry!

Dear OOO,

Thanks much for letting us know the odds in every box item you produce (such as the recent storm box). In many MMOs and other online games today, we the community are often left scratching our heads over the odds in blind boxes, and often they seem to have drop chances that are insanely low, or at least unable to be determined. I just wanted to thank you all for publicly making the odds on your chance box items known (and making the odds on most items reasonable as well). It's one of the many reasons I still log in to play spiral knights years later. It just proves to me that you guys know that you all care about users. Thanks again for being transparent.

While I know many will disagree with the use of boxes, and I am generally not a big fan of them myself, the fact that we can do the following often makes spiral knights fair to players:

A) Box odds are known. If you want to take chances, one can reasonably determine if they like their odds.
B) all box items are unbound. In so many other games super chance items are bound to accounts. Making acquiring them impossible to many who cannot spend real money on a game.

I think I can say that the way OOO does it is about as fair and transparent as a company could make chances boxes, and I have to applaud them for being so forthcoming with how they work. Like or hate boxes, at least we all know what exactly we are buying.

It's nice that there's no aura this time. Those things are too rare.

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

Hivolt, someone named Armyunit will be posting on this thread soon because of your name. (I think.)

Ok, I won't be creepy.

Yes, I'm glad that they do it. It makes it...less like...idk.
