Heyas. If I may ask, is the newsletter being sent out? Have others received it? I thought I had signed up for it a little while ago, but I don't believe I've received anything yet. I've been hoping that it might contain notifications as to when things have been updated--patches and promotions and the like; is this indeed the case? Note that I am one who does not plan on regularly signing in to the game or checking this website for the time being, but I wouldn't mind keeping up to date on what's being done with it.

Aye. Double checking now, I received 'Spiral Knights Newsletter: Please Confirm Subscription' and 'Spiral Knights Newsletter: Subscription Confirmed' emails to my inbox from support@spiralknights.com on April 24th, and then nothing since. They do say to contact that email address for any questions, and I suppose I can do so if I don't receive any answer here.

Huzzah, I did receive a copy of the newsletter last night, which is accessible online at http://eepurl.com/z9Jen . There's also a link to past issues, but unfortunately they appear to have been somewhat sporadic as of late--I don't see anything that was sent out pertaining to the second anniversary. Hopefully they will keep up with the major updates in the future.
Have you checked your spam mail boxes? Are you sure it's not being swept to a sub-folder? Are you sure you entered the correct email address? (well you're posting on the forums, so I guess you must have)
