Which to me feels unfair, because I like the Omega Shell.

That shield is supposed to have "More health" yet it's drained all the same?

I personally think the Omega shell should either:
A.) Be more effective when shield bashing, opposed to other shields
B.) Cost less shield because you have more shield health then other shields.

Just a personal note. Maybe give the item some sort of unique usage for shield-bash extraordinaires.

Well I, personally, don't think it should be anything special for any particular
shields; I think it should just be a certain ammount of damage done to the shield,
regardless of which shield. Shields with more health recieve less drain. End
of story.

Percentages are easier to handle. Else you need to check a few more conditions, like current tier, star level.....

Think it this way, what amount of damage would be fair for every shield?
Too high and it would ruin the mechanic with T1-T2 shields. Too low and the damage will be meaningless for a T3 shield.
