A raving lunatic named Dementia would like to have dash tracers that matched a knight's personal color, not really sure how I could elaborate any further on that. Please offer your opinions and thoughts.

Enableable in character options, or have it as a character modifier like height.

I just don't see any reason

I just don't see any reason why it has to stay blue. It makes sense for the bash, since it's powered by the shield and you have it out when doing so, but the dash can be used even without a shield equipped.

As an accessory, and available in all colors.

Mayhaps divine, volcanic,

Mayhaps divine, volcanic, ghostly, shadow, and other dash effects as well? Divine would have trails of white light and some falling feathers, for example.

make it

a new shield accessory, or just armor. I dunno. The point of making it a shield accessory is so that you could have one shield make lets say, a volcanic effect, while another has a typhoon effect. Typhoon would basically be a much more windy version.
JUST TO CLARIFY, I AM TALKING ABOUT SHIELD BASH TRAILS, NOT DASH TRAILS.

Wouldn't it be a usable rather than an accessory? Oh well.

+1 to waffle too, even though it's a different idea entirely.

I agree, your shield wouldn't stay blue if the shield reduced, just like in combat.
