The Core of the Swarm

So I was thinking about how to add a new challenge to Spiral Knights and here it is: (Wall of words ahoy!)

SECTION 1~BACKROUND and Beginning

It is an extension of the shadow lairs. At the sanctuary there is a large gate. It is pure white, and has four keyholes in it. In each of the keyholes the knights have to insert a key. There is one key for each of the bosses. To craft a key, one must bring 100 of that boss' tokens and 5 of their shadow lair material to the sanctuary crafting machine. It costs 2k CR and 100 CE to craft a key (with the materials). After all four keys are inserted, the gate swings open and the knights can go to the passage beyond. At the end of the passage, there is a broken looking elevator, which is steaming out void particles. When the knights descend, they find the first floor.

Could this be the route Alpha Team took?

SECTION 2~THE FLOORS

When you arrive in the first floor, there are a couple things to notice at first.
1. The minimap does not work, and all it says is CO_RUPTION LEVEL 1
2. Everything in the area is a very light grey color.
As the knights continue they see that there is no color except this light grey, and that everything is rotting and falling apart. Protection barriers are missing or flashing, gates have fallen apart and are able to walk past. Large chunks of the floor seem to have fallen apart. The floor is very random and chaotic. Each part of the floor has a theme, for example, jelly, this floor is composed of one jelly themed section and one fiend themed section . All monsters are called CORRUPT (Lv. 1) (monster name). All the monsters are light grey too. After you get past the first themed section you come upon a long hallway with a party button at the beginning. The hallway is open on both sides and swarm particles are pouring in from the blackness outside. When you get to the end of the hallway you come to another entirely differently themed section, fiend in this case. Through all the floors are party button rooms that are completely black, no texture at all, and the knights have to fight waves of void monsters.
NOTE: In undead-themed floors almirian shadow guards are present.

The second floor is the same as the first except that now the monsters are Corrupt (Lv2) (Name) now, and the minimap says CO_RUPTI_ON LEVEL 2. Also everything is a slightly darker grey now
The themes are beast and construct.

Third floor follows the same pattern (it and the minimap says C__RUP_ION LEVEL 3. Everything is an even darker grey now. The theme is undead and gremlin.

The fourth floor is quite different, it is a broken down replica of Emberlight. There are huge amounts of enemies. Minimap says C__RUP_ION L_V_L 4 even darker grey

Fifth floor is a broken down replica of Moorcraft Manor, and at the end of it (where the elevator would be is a passage way to a replica room) the danger mission boss Maulos is present at the end. He has more health, and is harder. The minimap says C__RUP__ON L___L 5. Getting very dark by now

The sixth floor is a broken down replica of Haven, with the danger mission boss The Big Iron inside the closed off laboratory.. The minimap says C__R_P__O_ L____ 6 now. Everything is a bit brighter than black.

The seventh floor is a unknown passage themed floor. It is pretty much the same thing, except more swarm particles everywhere, and some sections of the floor are pure black. It is harder than the current unknown passage. The minimap says C_________ L____ 7. In it all levels of monsters (including void) appear.

The eighth floor is the boss, and I will get to that later.

SECTION 3~Monster descriptions

Wolvers: Lv1 They are missing half of their right ear. Lv2 They are missing their entire right ear, and part of their left ear. Lv3 they are missing both ears and about half of their tail. Lv4 they are missing their entire tail now. Lv5 they are missing their right leg now. Lv6 they are missing their bottom jaw.

Chromalisks: Lv1 They are missing their right eye. Lv2 They are missing both eyes. Lv3 They are missing half of their tail. Lv4 they are missing their entire tail. Lv5 They are missing their back right leg. Lv6 They are missing both back legs.

Ect. Ect. Ect. Writing everything down would take too long but you get the idea

SECTION 4~The Boss

I won't even try to name it. When the knights get to the final floor, they walk through a long hallway with void particles coming over from the blackness beyond. They get to a party button with health regen spots. The room the enter is a copy of the rabid snarbolax room. They see a large black cloud in the center which seems to be made of the swarm. After about 2 seconds from entering, the cloud transforms into a slightly easier version of the rabid snarbolaxs. After they are defeated, the swarm cloud returns, and the knights have to defeat it, It has shadowy tentacles coming out of it, and it's attacks consist of it shooting them out at the nights, spawning void creatures, and using some of rabid snarbolax's attacks. After the fight with it is over, the knights go through another passageway and come to a grey recreation of the jelly king's throne room. They continue to do the same thing again with a weaker version of the ice queen. After this fight are health boxes. Then again the same with RRT Then the team goes the to the Darkfire vanaduke room, and again, defeat him, after this fight, the last room opens. It is a dark shadowy room which has parts from all over the clockworks mixed into it. After the knights enter a shadow comes down from the ceiling and turns into a spiral knight (wearing Azure Guardian) bathed in shadow the seems to steam off of him. Then the fight begins. The boss can switch between 3 weapons, a shadowy Leviathan, Valiance, and Nitronome. When he attacks with the leviathan the swing is normal, but when he does the charge attack explosions spiral out of him. For the Valiance it shoots swarm bullets, and the charge attack does a spray of them. The nitronome explodes in a shadowy explosion which does stun. All attacks inflict the corruption status. Corruption status works like fire except remedy pills don't work with it, and there is no armor than can defend from it. It does 4 seconds of damage and halved attack power. Throughout the fight the boss will spawn void monsters, and also quickly turn into other bosses and use their attacks. After he is defeated, the room falls apart in the back revealing a passage with a huge amount of prize boxes, and a material podium which gives each player 1 Core of the Swarm. They proceed to go down the final elevator.

Part 5: REWARDS AND THE GREAT SANCTUARY

When the players descend, they see nothing at first, then, after a few seconds, a bright light flashes and they see themselves in a sanctuary styled large circular room. In it is a crafting machine bathed in shadow.

This is what you can create:

Swarm Leviathan:
Description-it looks like a normal leviathan, except black and with swarm particles coming off of it.
Attacks: the normal attack is normal, but the charge attack, when the player spins it creates 4 swarm meteorites that comes from the ceiling, which look like black balls of swarm, and they crash down north south east and west of the player. All attacks have a slight chance of causing corruption.
Crafting materials:
1 Core of the Swarm
1 Leviathan
20k crowns
1600 energy

Swarm Valiance
Description: a Valiance which is bathed in shadow, where the inside of the barrel is purple.
Attacks: normal attack just shoots a damaging swarm bullet, but the charge attack shoots a much larger swarm bullet, that moves slowly, does no knock back, but it does pass through enemies. All attacks have a slight chance of causing corruption status.
Crafting materials: same thing as leviathan except with Valiance

Swarm Nitronome:
Description: a Nitronome bathed in shadow with a purple light coming out of the top.
Attack: when the bomb is dropped, after a small time there is a first small initial explosion, then a larger explosion in a ring that starts where the first explosion ends and it ends about a block out, then there is another larger ring explosion, and a final ring explosion. The explosion range is at the end larger than that of a nitronome's.
Crafting: same as the others

Swarm Guardian:
Description: Black Azure Guardian cloaked in shadow.
Defense: it has about a 4*'s protection against everything, all statuses and attack types, not including corruption
Crafting: again same thing.

Part 6: credits

Thank to Wolfx-ten and Apophis-Set for helping me think and edit this idea, and thanks to those who actually spent the time to read the whole thing.

Simple version

Here's a simple version for the people who can't pay attention for more than 5 minutes:

New much harder levels after the shadow lairs that cost lots of monies to get into. Following me still? Then, people encounter all the bosses in easier versions. Then, super rewards!

That good enough, children?
