I couldn't find anything on this, but I'm sorry if this is a repeat.
Has anyone thought it would be a good idea to have a second shadow damage alchemer that inflicted curse?

it would have moderately low damage and a low chance to inflict curse, but it would still be a viable option next to the shadowtech alchemer
Personally, I still think a "curse alchemer" would be too OP despite dealing less bullet damage and having only a slight chance of inflicting status because the bullet/reload speed is still relatively high, and paired with another alchemer it would allow players to fast switch and bullet spam an area with bullets - thus making the chance of curse substantially more likely.
I still think guns need more love though, and a gun equivalent of the Gran Faust would be a neat idea - I think I have an idea how to implement that...
I always thought the Magnus line was the gunner's answer to the gran faust - it's slow, yet packs a punch - Say we take a Callahan, replace it's pierce damage with shadow damage (slightly less than a regular Callahan with pierce), and replace the 'Moderate Stun' status with 'Slight Curse'?
Just a thought.
@Spookington
curse is only OP if it lasts for a long time. if it only lasts for, say 10-15 seconds, the effect would only really hurt silkwings, which attack constantly and are resistant to shadow anyway. this was also a suggestion for a shadow status alchemer
I said this not even 2 days ago. If curse is put on the alchemers, that means its usable in tier 2 PvE and PvP.
Also, instead of being completely unoriginal and making a sixth alchemer, why not put curse on a weapon that's slow, and comes with high risk? I can think of a far better choice of gun to put curse on.
Curse is by and large the most powerful and debilitating status in the game. In order to justify an alchemer having the ability to deal curse, it must have very low damage or a very low chance of inflicting the status. That, or just make it like the faust where curse is common with the charge attack, but takes a while to charge and has a chance to curse yourself.
