As you can get gold keys, sometimes you get a key and then the gate is right around the corner. That isn't very hard <_< But I thought about what if you could also get silver and bronze keys for different types of gates and actually make them useful. Like have an arena then a gold key appears, theres like different ways to go and each way can only be unlocked by certain keys. Complete 1 arena and theres a silver and bronze gate, kill monsters and you get a silver key, go through silver gate and theres another silver and gold etc. Hope it made sense :P
More Challanges/puzzles to face in Clockworks
Takes a couple of seconds to figure it out each time.
Would like some more substance with Keys but how is it confusing? Beat monster, get gold key, open gold gate, fight monster, get silver key, open silver gate etc.
+1 . Most games have some form of difficult puzzles (Even MMO's), but Spiral Knights lacks in this department. Make special puzzle levels, please!
This sounds like a good way to re-implement the silver keys and doors.
I never said it was confusing? If you're refering to "I Hope it made sense :P", what I meant by that is if what I I SAID made any sense. But questioning me on if this confusing...what is in clockworks? Sure they may be a few things like in Scarlett Fortress with the gates but I can't think of anything else. This key/gate idea is about choosing what gate comes next. Each room would have different monsters (most probably types aswell). There's only so many keys that not every gate can be opened, It's your choice on what arenas you wish to beat.
+ 1. I think this game is fun to play, but not challenging except for fighting bosses and "sub" bosses.

Have a +1
I hate puzzles. All I have to say. Have a nice day, sir.
+0.5
I like a bit of puzzle-solving, being a huge Zelda fan, but I still prefer action. In fact, one of the main
things which attracted me to Spiral Knights was that it was a real-time fantasy MMO basically about pure
action. The way I see it, if they want to add more depth, the new shield maneuvers and battle
sprites they're working on are the better way to go.
Maybe that should be in a puzzle level! :D:D:D
