when i used cryotech alchemer MK II in the party lobby in tier 1 right at the spot where you originate, instead of a big bullet, two small bullet looking like they rebounded from a wall or a monster showed up. is this just the party lobby?

If you fire while on top of an elevator you rode up on it acts as if there is a barrier there. Is that what you mean? It's been like that as long as I can remember.
