Hello fellow Blast Network guilds! A new tournament is going on and it should suit you perfectly! THE BOMBER GAMES (dun, dun, dunnnn). Have your chance to be the ultimate BN guild.

****All the official matches will be held when Raynstorm logs on. Raynstorm must also SPECTATE the match****

If you would like to join, Mail or Private Message Raynstorm. You can put that your guild is joining in the comments, but I still need mail.

The entry fee is 30k for the whole guild. You pay once, you play 'till you lose.
You will be facing many different guilds so make sure you pick the best people to play for you. You do NOT have to use the same players every game.

THE GRAND PRIZE: The grand prize is 80% of all the entry fees total***

***1 substitute on your team is OKAY. Do not exceed the limit of 1!***
***No Away From Keyboard killing! Everybody has lives, respect that!***
***No member can leave the match! I understand if they have to log off, but they can't leave for anything else***
IF ANY MEMBER BREAKS ONE OF THESE RULES, THE WHOLE GUILD WILL BE ELIMINATED FROM THE TOURNAMENT

Q: Where does the other 20% go?
A: Goes to funds, the people that helped out to put this together, and second place winners.

Q: Are you allowed to CE rev?
A: Yes you are ^-^ You can use it as many times as you want

Q:What happens if your guild wins?
A: We take the prize, of course!

I've fixed that now. The other money was going to go to all the helpers that put this together and 2nd place, but I think that's a little excessive. Now 80% goes to 1st place

No offence but as much as I like BN, don't you think 50k cr is a bit overboard for a mini-game that is dead and has 20 people playing at it's peak?

my 2 cents

Sticky in this game does not happen. What happens is someone puts a bomb in front of you and the server show you are at the same spot than the bomb but in fact you are behind it. The game shove you to the nearest available spot

This can happen in CW and why people can skip some arena, Slag spawns and you get shoved to the nearest available spot. Which is behind the gate, behind the slags (Ghost Danger missions, Last arena of the first floor, 3rd wave and Darkfire vana at the end of D27, last wave of last arena)

Whenever I see myself "in a bomb" I just go backward and continue bombing/dodging.

Hence rubber-banding over stickying. Because it's not really a sticky

Even if it's for the whole guild? You do realize how few guild plays BN right? You may get one or two entry...

I did not try to ruin your tournament. I just showed you the flaws of your concept of it. I would love to participate in BN competition like we used to hold but I cannot see it happening due to how BN is dead and not being played ATM. 50k cr is a lot for a guild to compete in a tournament and ONCE you paid 50k cr, you can form as many group as you can. There are obvious flaws that you should reconsider

Criticism isn't a bad thing and I don't get why people always think that criticism = bad.

If we take time to make a critic it's because we somewhat care and want it to improve. When my boss come and tell me "you should do this instead of that" I listen and apply it rather than saying "are you done ruining my mood now?"

This sounds good, but i bet we can make it better ;D

Hmn...this should be interesting not only for the guilds who play bn, but also for the ones who play LD and want to have some fun. But maybe we could think of ways to organize better in order to be able to build teams made from players of different guilds.
And about the price....hmn..yeah...it's true you make that money with only one vana guild run but this way starting guilds will have a hard time gathering the necessary cr...what if they want to participate...anyways, i think if we keep on advertising(Shout in haven?) this idea more players will get to contribute to upcoming tournaments.

And I have something to say to shamanala, (Yes you! with the awesome cake you will of course share with me!)

I know that sometimes people mistakes rubberbanding with stickybombing . Me and many others were falsely accused of stickbombing many times in the past. But that doesn't mean stickybombs do not exist. I've already tested with a friend of mine and here is what happened:

- I was using a computer and he was at my side with his laptop. So we could see what was happening on eachother's screen.

- I stood still dead center on a floor tile of the map (If you're not on the center of the floor tile you won't be "sticked", that's how rubberbanding usually occurs, and that's how i avoid getting sticked) and let him do his magic and wait till i manage to escape or both of us die.

- Now, i had about 3 seconds to test all directions in an effort of escaping. And so I did.

- I could not escape it.

- We repeated the experiment over and over, with the same result (except a few bad placed bombs).

Conclusion: Both stickbombs and rubberbanding exists. But sometimes it's hard to tell the diference between those two.

If you want we can arrange meeting in-game and try stickbombing eachother while we high five ourselves along a nice cup of tea.
