Currently we have 3 weapon lines : Swords,Guns,Bombs and with the introduction of the new chaos buffs it seems as if it doesn't even fit for a mystical cowl to give ctr to a bomb.
And then i was thinking the hooded series only does one main purpose, elemental protection and they themselves don't have their own proper series. I was thinking these sets could have their own suitable weapon line to better suit this sorcery armor set.
So i came up with 2 types of wand lines:
The damage wands which deal elemental/shadow damage these take the regular 3-4 seconds to charge.
The status wands which deal poison/freeze/shock/fire these take the regular 3- 4 seconds to charge too.
Damage wand lines:
2* Version : Pupils training wand.
3* Version : Apprentice's wand.
4* Version : Shadow/Divine wizard's wand
5* Version : Cursed/Holy mage's/ wand.
The status effect wands:
2* Version : Unstable testing wand.
3* Version : Fire/Shock/Freeze/Poison focused wand.
4* Version : Fire/Shock/Freeze/Poison master's wand.
5* Version : Fire/Shock/Freeze/Poison Guardian's wand.
Now for the way these wands are utilized.
The damage wand :
This wand will create a whip of energy being elemental/shadow or normal for the first 2 stages. and the charge will create a circle around the user which will spin around him and explode outwards pushing back enemies and dealing them a fair amount of damage. (As you level up in star rank the attacks will have a larger whip and improve in colour contrast and range.
The status wand:
The status wand will produce a mist/flame/laser or poison bubble green mist which will travel much like how fire travels in vanaduke or the fire puppies. These statuses will be very lethal as the wands themselves deal very little damage.(Much like mist bombs). Now for the interesting part when charged the wand will produce a circle on the ground in the direction you are pointed at so if you release the charge facing forward it will form the circle of fire/shock/poison/freeze about 2- 3 steps forward from the user.
The Armor sets:
With the addition of these wands one must think how it will effect the armor sets
Divine Veil : Damage bonus to all wands (Medium)
Grey Feather: Attack speed increase to all wands (Medium)
Chaos Cowl : Charge time Reduction low and Damage bonus low
Comment on what could be over-powered / under-powered or doesn't fit.
I like the general idea, but I think we need to focus more on bugfixes and Battle Sprites and balancing.
