Let's all have a guess at what one of the upcoming updates will be, eh? No, don't whine if you're wrong, please!

Here's mine. A lot of it is wishful thinking...

Weapon Reconstruction

Something within the depths of the Clockworks has released a huge burst of energy. The huge wave has distorted matter which relies heavily on energy, including weapons and monsters in the Clockworks. So far, it seems the following have been distorted:

  • Weapons:
    • Pulsar series weapons are now more party friendly.
    • Cutter, Striker, Vile Striker, and Venom Striker secondary hits now have a 25% chance to pierce invincibility frames nor trigger them in Lockdown.
    • Hunting Blade and Wild Hunting Blade secondary hits now have a 50% chance to pierce invincibility frames nor trigger them in Lockdown.
    • Autogun series guns' bullets now have a 10% chance to pierce invincibility frames nor trigger them in Lockdown. Their charged attack's bullets have a 15% chance.
    • Flourish series swords and Snarble Barb series swords have gotten their attack combos reversed: first and second attacks are stabs while the third attack is a swing.
    • Shard Bomb series bombs have their hit limits removed. The 4 star versions of similar bombs have a hit limit of 4, and 5 star versions of similar bombs have a hit limit of 5. All Shard Bombs and similar bombs may now damage the Roarmulous Twins.
    • Graviton and Electron series' vortexes can no longer be escaped from in Lockdown unless the trapped player is a Guardian.
    • Dark Reprisal and similar bombs now have a 20% chance to pierce invincibility frames nor trigger them in Lockdown.
    • Iron Slug now [REDACTED].
    • Normal damage Catalyzer series guns' bullets travel slightly faster, and all Catalyzer series guns' charged shots have a 50% chance to pierce invincibility frames nor trigger them in Lockdown.
  • Armor:
    • Chaos Cloak and Cowl now have no elemental resistance.
    • Arcane Salamander Mask and Suit now have Curse resistance. Both pieces have two-thirds their previous amount of Normal and Elemental damage resistance, and have added Shadow Resistance which is equal to the other two resistance types.
    • Almirian Crusader Armor and Helm each now give a global Charge Time Reduction: Low.
    • All Jelly Mail series armors and Jelly Helm series helmets have no Sleep resistance, and instead have increased Normal damage and Piercing damage resistances.
    • The Gunslinger Hat series now has new cosmetics.
  • Monsters:
    • Wolvers in Tier 3 now track targets during their attacks, but cannot burrow until they finish attacking.
    • Trojans: Now have a temporary invincibility period directly after spawning. This period is longer in deeper tiers.
    • Gremlin Mortafires, Ghostmane Stalkers, and Knockers: They can all use pills when they are low on health and may be revived by menders.
    • Gremlin Knockers: In deeper levels, they can now move much quicker, are more crafty, and dash in a similar manner to Thwackers.

Finally, Recons have reported far more powerful monsters than found before when entering into certain rooms behind energy gates. Some reports mention creatures such as a large-shelled construct, a giant, green desert, and even a pair of levitating gears! Mysterious!

EDIT: Added armors.

Whats with the redacted?

Wouldn't it be funny if they released a patch with accidentally deletes all the games files?
Thats whats going on through my head.

The redacted is a joke. Or actually, it's because I want to see what Nick wants to do with the gun.

@Blake-Sky-Blade

Wurp, I forgot about Catalyzers even though I was just talking to a friend about them and why they don't work well in LD. xD

I liek biohehzerd cuz shadow bllet + OP poison

Just kidding, I've used catalyzer lines (3* Toxic cata in T2 LD) in Lockdown and, needless to say, are good for those one or two hits at most. The damage isn't THAT terrible, but the slow bullets, unlike huge AoE range of pulsars, can hardly hit anything. The shadow and poison are a bonus, but this gun is more of a clockworks toy than an actual killer. At the moment anyway.

Zeddy, how on earth do you leave the post's body blank like that? O.o

Once I saw someone using Biohazard, and he was pretty skilled (it was easy to see) but it wasn't too viable. The bullets traveled so slow that Strikers usually went right around them.

Yeahh..

Currently when I'm using my Toxic Cata in LD, I'm just kinda hoping people run into it or don't notice it
It's a surprisingly effective tactic, about on par with the amount of times I can hit someone with my Cryotech mkII (no AT here) while aiming.
It's also fun to just fire it point-blank. (happens when Strikers dash right up next to me before I can weapon switch, or other reasons)
What would probably work somewhat well would be to like switch-shoot with varying bullet speeds, I.E. fire off an Alchemer at opponent, Cata at where you think they'll be, Alch back at opponent, etc...
But this would so much better if the Cata charge could actually detonate and deal damage. :P

Honk honk. Make way for the dead bunny.

No, me and Necro both joined right after the game was released. We're bros, btw.
