I thought shield bash was meant to be used to get out of sticky situations. Now when I get cornered by a trojan, or mobbed by skeletons, i cant bash my way out? what is this crap. This new update ruined shield bash so horribly...

You have to be explicit as to what you are suggesting.
If I infer correctly, you're saying that you can't Bash when you are surrounded by enemies and thus unable to move, but (I assume) you have full shields. So your suggestion is to fix this problem?
First off, keep feed back in the proper thread.
Second off, this means when on elevators and at the start of an LD game.
