The Mad Doctor's Laboratory presents: More Battle Sprites?! (Just concepts right now.)

Right, so Battle Sprites are pretty polarizing. Some people are looking forward to the addition of new content and predicting more powerful monsters to balance things out, others are worried the new stuff will overpower the Knights and are also worried that the developers might be taking quantity suggestions over quality suggestions.

This thread has (mostly) nothing to do with these arguments and everything to do with CATCHING ALL THE SPIRALMON! No, wait, it doesn't, it's just concepts for some Battle Sprites that could be added after Drakon, Seraphynx, and Maskeraith, so you have a tougher time choosing your favorite Spiralmon.

Glacyberg

Changing dramatically based on their environment, indeed; Glacyberg is best described as a chunk of ice with eyes that wears a harness on its head like a headband. Non-flying Battle Sprites can sit on your head, your shoulder, or maybe on a little hoverboard that follows your knight.

Since Glacyberg is a chunk of ice with eyes, obviously his skillset likely tends itself toward causing havoc in an enemy's movement, whether it's Freezing them for a short time or causing them to slide around on an ice slick. How does he do it? Who knows? Heck, is Glacyberg even a "he"? Is Glacyberg a "she" or an "it"? Because Glacyberg is obviously a surname.

Either way, he/she/it can lay down ice slicks that forces enemies to gain momentum slowly and has a small chance to trip them while they move (or Stun them, I guess) and drop icicle spikes on the ground. Other ideas for attacks include creating a snowball pickup item, giving the Knight temporary (all-terrain) ice skates (made of ice) that let him or her skate out of Freeze and move slightly faster, and creating a sleet storm that makes it difficult for enemies to move.

Now please don't run any ships into him. Or her. Or it.

E-28 "Breaker"

Looking like a floating disc hovering via some strange green energy, E-28 "Breaker" has its harness mounted just beneath its antigravitational thruster. E-28 sports a laser gun and an antenna on top.

E-28 excels in damaging a single target. He can pew-pew at one target with his Laser Gun, but his biggest feature is his Target Mark. E-28 displays a green crosshair over a target that increases damage by 20% against that one target at the cost of lowering damage by 10% against other targets within twenty-five spaces until the Marked target is destroyed, encouraging Knights to focus fire on that one target; allies like Mecha Turrets will aim for Marked targets, too! Great for Menders and Silkwings! Other attack ideas include firing a small homing rocket at a Marked target, using a charged Laser Gun that slows Knight movement while charging but deals 30% more bonus damage to a Marked target, and firing a laser blast that upgrades a Target Mark to double its effect.

Jetwing

Jetwing ended up landing in an Infernal Passage in Tier 3 after the crash. He almost died multiple times and had to make his way past who knows how many Devilites that he couldn't fight on his own just to get back to the Knights. Don't blame him for looking like a glowing blue dragonfly with an actual stinger. Jetwing's harness is on the thickest end of his tail; his stinger and fangs normally black, but they change color with different damage types (Piercing fangs/stinger are brown, Shadow fangs/stinger are burgundy, Elemental fangs/stinger are blue).

Jetwing's main focus is speed. Jetwing's Leech Bite does less damage in exchange for giving Knights extra Movement Speed on a successful hit, and his Hit 'n' Run ability gives Knights extra Movement speed as well as increased Attack Speed (that takes effect even if equipment ASI is Maximum) on their charge and the first hit of their standard combo or clip. Other ideas include instantly finishing a Dash cooldown, or giving Knights a temporary Striker Dash effect that ends after a set time or when the Knight hits the Shield button.

Now for all of you to tell me how everything is supremely overpowered and should never be added ever.

I like them all together, but

I like them all together, but I am only worried about how jetwing could be a bit unfair at times and how Breaker would make vanduke spamming more of an issue from making it so much easier :l

Due to their nature and purpose., all Battle Sprites need to have the ability to fly. (lorewise)
