No, most people don't know/don't think about dashing out of it. Out of dozens of games of me using EV, only a few people actually attempted to dash out of it.

by that point, there'll probably only be a 2-3 second gap between charging > laying down > having the bomb explode before they can dash again.
If you guys really want to think strategically around this, you can think of the EV as a bait for a dash. If you can predict or have good connection/reflex, you can catch where they finish dashing with a gun shot or a boost>slash
But all that aside, with your random average-quality player, they'll be too panicked trying to attack you from inside the thing. You can kind of 'bait' them to stay inside and attack you by being near the bomb.
Honestly it's not all that different from knowing that you can just regular-walk, striker-boost out of EV or that guardians ignore the pull. `_` different weapons have different strengths and uses.

but in all honesty, if you're using a vortex as a bomber (laying them down consecutively), you're probably circling around a capture zone or spawn area, and then they'll dash away from the zone/you and be able to move again while you charge
It'd be nice if it worked, but I can't see it working in a regular match :x
