Maybe someday we'll actually get a new PvE boss, or a new PvP mode.
Instead of stupid pets that'll make us even more overpowered they we already are.

Reminds me of the philosophy behind Duke Nukem Forever. They spent so long on every single aspect - from textures to levels to mechanics - that eventually the feature creep got so large that it consumed them all. And they all knew that the only way out was through death, or rage-quitting.
And when it finally got released it was a barely-playable mess created from the remains of decades-old ideas and concepts that were salvaged from the negligent corpse of the dozens upon dozens of individual concepts propagated throughout its lifetime.
So by all means, take your time. Just don't let the feature creep bite.
