Hello everyone! Recently, I was scammed. This might not be the subject for the General Discussion, but Im trying. here are a list of questions I have.

1: Is there a place rather than General discussion to put this?
2: Quite a while ago, I have 750 CE to a guildie. (Name deleted) He needed it to get a silver Key, and I told him he had to pay me 800CE back, so that I could make a profit. A few weeks went by without him online and I was worried about being scammed. I sent a letter to him and he replied that he was on Holiday, and was working to repay me. A few weeks later I hear nothing from him, and he wont reply to me in mail. I sent another letter telling him if he wouldn't at least REPLY to my mail, I would report him for scamming. I didn't hear anything back, and I reported him.
My question is, is there any way I could be compensated by an admin? Im not sure how it worked, but I know that in the "Wrong Trade" section it says that they can't do anything about about because they are not sure what the trade was, and they only have my word. But I believe some proof is that if I go to "Energy Purchase History" it should show energy trades between myself and others. I can't open the page up right now for some reason, but if I did, it would show 750- CE, or something like that, and no +800 ce.
3: Would you please leave feedback on what you think, or ways to help?

I plan to rejoin my old guild that he was in, hoping to get in touch with him. Maybe to see if he's been inactive. Ill edit this on what I find.

ok.

1 actually, I don't know. but I guess not.
2 no naming and shaming in first place. second, it was all your fault. you gave him the ce. third, no, there is no way to get the ce back if the guy who you gave the ce doesn't want to.
3 in fact, scamming is a problem, but analyzing any situation like this it's practically always the scammed fault. so don't be scammed and everyone is happy.

Don't name and shame.

Also, lending somebody money is your fault. If you get "scammed", then the police will help you. If you willingly give money to somebody in hope for something in return, the police will not help you, because they do not know the terms of the deal. Same thing with SK

Thanks.

Thank you all for the feedback! I suppose it is my fault. If I find out that he was inactive or anything like that from the guild, Ill post it here.

EDIT: I also deleted his name. I apologize for putting it on here.

I know it is kinda late for this but, NEVER EVER LEND STUFF TO ANYONE IN ANY GAME. U will never know what kind of people in RL they are, unless u actually know them in real life and know them well (that is, if they are sincere). That is the first rule in MMO and u broke it -.-, well, tough luck, be more careful next time and if u are expecting any of us willing to help u restore the 750 CE, NO, just no...
