Nothing special as drops, though. Not sure if we're the first for this gate, but at least one of the first parties to do so.
On the last stage, everything kills you in basically one hit. Not to mention the ridiculous lag...
It was fun though, and took some good teamwork. Good job guys.
Furon, Shepsmeister, Haze/Kafro (the latter was sadly disconnected, but he gets an honourable mention) and I also defeated Vanaduke earlier today. Hooray!
It was more of a hilarious fluke, though: around his third Touhou-style phase, I was taken down right by his head -- and PINNED IT IN PLACE. The head was unable to move, which I didn't even know was possible and was an EXTREME stroke of luck.
Then halfway through the 4th and final walking phase, I was struck down again alone with Haze, our bodies pinning him in place. Furon and Shepsmeister just plain unloaded on him at that point, and he finally fell. On my head. Ow. x_x
Up until the 6th phase of the fight though, we were actually doing alright; the key was to get rid of the other enemies first when they spawn in the walking phase, and THEN focus on Vanaduke. It was the last bullet phase that gave us real problems, but we managed.
