Selling (useless) UV'ed equipment to vendors should be more profitable

If I don't feel like doing anything, I mostly just create Bolted Blades and sell them to vendors to gain some small profit (100cr for each).
Sometimes I do get (useless) UV's. I also sell those to vendors.

I don't like to use the AH that much, and btw, these are just Bolted Blades. Only newbies would buy them, and why should I waste time with that?
And also, when you want to get rid of bad items with bad UV's, vendors are often a good way to get rid of them while getting some money back.

Now, what I really want is that for each UV on the weapon you wanna sell, that the vendor gives you some more crowns for it.
So for example: A BB with dmg bonus fiend low, he would buy it from you for let's say, 375? (+25%)

I was thinking:

For each UV, you will get 25% more cr.
For each UV level, raise the price by 5% (starting from 0)
Low- +0%
Med- +5%
High- +10%
VHigh- +15%
Ult- +20%
Max- +25%

Let's do some math.
Example: Selling a Cautery Sword with ASI Med would be: 3500cr (sword itself) + 25% (1 UV) + 5% (Med UV) = 4550 cr
That would be a profit of 1050 cr. At least you get something from the UV!

Hope this doesn't look too complicated. I don't think it is...

I think your percents are off somewhere, and/or should be tweaked... 1050cr extra on a 2* weapon for only a Med. UV is a bit high. I would like UVs to be worth something to vendors though.

You'd actually be surprised what people buy off the auction house. Cobalt Armor, Shocking Edges, Force Bucklers, all sorts of odds and ends you'd never think anyone would buy.

Saw a bid war on a Shocking Edge. Went up to 1.5K

I think that I can do some Calculationings here. Give me a quantum second inverse to the exponential power of 6. NOTE: Assuming the percentages are cumulative (+10% +10% = 20%) rather than compund (10% + 10% = 11%) and that all UV's are LOW.

As you can see, even without the whole "incremental percentage increases proportional with quality the UV", you can see how much better this.

I personally am against the whole better UV value = better percentage increase. Why? Because then people will still continue to value higher quality UV's instead of searching for complimentary UV's. Also, it might be a bit hard to explain the system to new players. 1 UV = 25% extra, 2 UV's = 50% extra, etc, is easier to explain.

Or you can just go ahead and say that the Quality of your UV's decides how much more you get from Vendors. It'll put more of an emphasis on Quality of UV's over the emphasis of number of UV's.

Ghret,
Your system is far more better than mine. I like it: +1.

First, I didn't had so many time to think about it
and secondly, i'm terrible at maths.

Which system? There are two.

The first involves giving a compound +25% increase to the Crown value of the item for each UV it has. Quality of the UV doesn't come into play here.

The seconds involves giving a compound variable percentage increase depending on the Quality of the UV. Both Quality and Quantity of the UV(s) come into play.

I shall go ahead and assume system 1 since that is the system I like best.
