I'm talking about those cylinders (you see them? on my arms). The cylinders are on all 5* gunslinger armors.
It looks like more bullets for a gun, but which gun?

These cylinders are designed as quick mags for the antigua series, where a gunner can reload the revolvers faster than conventional reloading( one bullet at a time ). Also, the cylinders acts as hand weight for the gunners to train their muscles since they do not use sword at close range like wolver coaters. As for the energy weapons (polaris cata, and blasters ), these cylinders also provides additional energy as well as better cool down. So, do u still think these cylinders are useless? ;)
I always thought they were just decorative cuffs like on an admirals coat or something.

Well, there are parrying blades and bomb bandoliers.
Spiral Knights are known to carry useless pieces of equipment for bling.
Left one's a cheese grater and the right is a combination salt and pepper shaker.
Huh. I've been using the Autogun cylinder as a pepper grinder, and the Jelly gun cylinder for fresh-ground marmalade, shredding citrus fruit and extruding it with the jelly.
Then why can I switch shoot alchemers with the 4* armor?
I know everything.
And when I say something that isn't true.
I'm lying.
That's simple. Most gunslinger gear uses mundane TTS and general weapons control & interface upgrades to boost gun performance, but once you get to 5-star rating the technology can't really be stacked any further with reasonable efficiency, and the hats alone give the maximum practical benefit. At this point, it becomes necessary to use more exotic impulse amplification and enhanced exoskeletal actuators to gain any further benefit such as greater recoil bracing for heavier loadings, faster articulation or such. This requires sophisticated powered reaction wheels, which unfortunately add significant bulk and weight. To get the most possible benefit from this cost, they are thoughtfully engineered to also hold important combat provisions such as some of the more common munitions, teatime snacks, and condiments, and allow them to be fresh-ground at need.
They're there as a pure intimidation tactic to stay away from being a gunner, holy crap do they get in the way!
