Welcome to my first fanfiction!(On this site, at least.) I don't really know what to write here, but I'll try:

1) NO PERFECT CHARACTERS. Your character HAS to have a drawback. For instance, my character is really smart, but isn't strong at all.

2) NO PRODIGIES. My character's only a prodigy in the intellectual sense because he descended from many famous scientists. In any case, he is extremely weak.

2) NO PERFECT WEAPONS That means your weapon can't completely instakill without any cooldown or something you need to start it with. It needs to have a drawback. Multiple drawbacks would be better.

3) NO WINGS. If you have wings, you can easily fly across Cradle and get everything you want.

3) OR JETPACKS. Or stuff really similar to that.

2. Have you finished that yet? It's good if you did. Now, moving on. It's time to make a device app! You can make up to 5 device apps; the minimum amount of devices you can use is 1. A 'device' is basically anything(in this fanfiction), ranging from armor to a weapon. Fill out this device form:

Name of device: Artificial Lightning Weapon
Description: A rocket-launcher looking gun that is of a dull grey. Painted beautifully on its side is a word in white that says,"ALIK-21". A laser is attached to it's top.
Use+Explanation:This weapon creates artificial lighting that travels and is guided along a plasma channel. So basically, the laser will shoot a high intensity laser pulse for a really short duration, and the laser pulse will actually use the air like a lens. The surrounding air focuses the beam, keeping the laser pulse controlled and not scattered. Now, the pulse is extremely strong, and it creates an electromagnetic field around itself that's so powerful it strips electrons from atoms in the air, essentially creating a plasma channel through the air. Since air is composed of neutral particles(that are insulators), and the plasma channel is a really good conductor(unlike the neutral particles in the air), the path of the laser pulse becomes a kind of filament. Now, the high-voltage source is located in the gun's barrel and conducts electricity through the laser pulse, thus creating a concentrated beam of high voltage electricity to zap its target like lightning. However, it will use all the power in its power source, and so you will either have to recharge it or put in a new power source that is compatible with the weapon.

4. However, to give you guys an idea of what you can do, you could make your character have a chip implanted in him that say, allows his skin to become completely flame-resistant. Of course, you'll have to do a bit of research on the topic. You can even put chips in your character that enable them superpowers, if they have some amount of scientific explanations to them, of course.

5. Armor also counts as one device. Just so you guys know.

6. You don't have to make it TOO detailed, you know. :P Remember that you can still add fictional science into it.

7. If someone has already made a weapon, and you want to make a weapon really similar to that, you can't. That would be copying. :P

8. Some ideas you guys can take note of:
-Fire-Resistance Chip(gives the person it's in more resistance to fire)
-Adrenaline Off/On Switch Chip(lets the person it's in turn off/on his/her adrenaline state at will.)

Appearance: He has medium-length, slightly spiky golden hair that only just touches the collar of his black shirt, his fringe laying just above his emerald-green eyes. He wears an unbuttoned dark red suit over his black shirt, his lean build suggesting that he does not work out. His red suit covers the top of his long, black pants that reach down to the tongue of his goth-black sneakers. He also wears a green scarf that 'scarcely' covers his neck.

Personality: Behind his calm and calculating demeanor is a very arrogant, condescending personality that he will only resort to if needed. He does not panic when he is in a terrible plight; instead he keeps calm and tries to find a solution. Due to his abnormally high aptitude, he thinks of most humans as dumb monkeys who do not know how to converse well. He does not make friends easily; instead he spends all his time inventing things and reading books.

Bio: Not much is known about this teenager, other than the fact that he is the heir to the Ainsworth fortune and that he has a particular fondness of electricity.

Armor-
Name of device: Stola Invisibilitatem
Description: It's a cloak that is of a dark grey.
Use+Explanation: It turns anything in it invisible. How? By utilizing the special properties of metamaterials, those of which can bend electromagnetic radiation. As such, it bends light around anything in it as well as itself, giving the appearance as if it isn't there at all.

Weapons-
Name of device: LG-281
Description: These gauntlets cover the wearer's hands, an extended cuff covering part of the forearm. The parts of the gauntlets that cover the wearer's hands are made of titanium alloyed with aluminium, thus making it lightweight. The parts of the gauntlets that cover part of the wearer's forearm is made of aluminium magnesium boride, a ceramic alloy.
Use+Explanation: Since the extended 'cuff' is made of a ceramic alloy, and ceramic is known to be an insulator of heat, the electricity that flows from the gauntlet's 'hands' will not hurt the wearer. Anyhow, they have power sources stored inside the gauntlet's 'hands' that charge the atoms around them. It then creates ionized air around each of the gauntlets. Remember that electricity follows the path of least resistance(in this case, the ionized air). The wearer brings his hands together and curls each of his hands into semi-spheres. As electricity is flowing into a form of a ball, the gauntlets's power sources turn off after a certain period of time(like, 2 seconds or so) and a sphere of electricity is created. However, it can only be stabilized for a few seconds before it disintegrates into midair, so make sure you're close to the enemy when you hit them with this. And since all this electrical energy is contained into a small ball, when the enemy is hit with this, if you hit them with enough force, the ball'll cut through their body easily. These gauntlets also provide decent defense against many things, though it cannot block a head on strike from an extremely sharp sword. And the wearer also wears rubber gloves below his gauntlets so his hands won't burn up or get electrocuted.

Painted cursively on its side is a word in white that says,"ALIK-21". A laser is attached to it's top.

So basically, the laser will shoot a high intensity laser pulse for a really short duration, and the laser pulse will actually use the air like a lens. Name of device: 'Teleporting' Scythe
Description: The scythe's blade is a dark grey, its handle even more so.
Use+Explanation: Nathan has a semi-sphere metallic object attached to the palm of his right hand by a strap. However, the semi-sphere is not very big in height and as such he does not encounter any problems with wielding the scythe without ease. A 'semi-sphere' is also attached to his scythe. So when he throws the scythe, he can immediately destroy and reconstruct the scythe back onto his hand, thus giving the impression that he 'materializes' the scythe out of midair. However, the scythe must remain intact or he will not be able to immediately destroy and reconstruct it back onto his hand.

Other-
Name of device: SASH.A(Doesn't count as a 'device', as it is technically part of the 'accessories' section)
Description: It's a black sash that holds many power sources(which are chips) on it.
Use+Explanation: It's holds extra 'ammo' for his gadgets.

Name of device: Force-Field Generator
Description: A grey-looking remote that looks like it would do something if it was thrown to the ground.
Use+Explanation: When thrown to the ground, this 'remote' immediately forms a semi-sphere field around itself, the field so tightly bounded so that objects affected by the particular force relating to the field are unable to pass through the field. However, it can only hold the field for 'so long', before the field disperses into midair, as its power source would run out of power.

Pandora's code was a code that was invented by a scientist on Cradle, by the name of Pandora. What was the code used for? It was protecting the materials in its box from perhaps, harmful sources. The metallic box that the code and its materials were in was completely indestructable. Nothing could destroy it. So anyway, upon unlocking the code, a program inside the box would state what the Pandora energy could do, and there was a sample of the Pandora energy inside it. The Pandora energy was said to be able to power anything, and that it could be used to manipulate time and space. That in itself was too alluring; many tried to steal it, though they could not crack the code. The scientist, knowing that many would die for the code, split it into many different parts and shot it to different places around Cradle. Soon, the mafia decided to get the code out of the scientist, but he refused. He was killed.

Many centuries later, most forgot about the Pandora Code. They could not harness Pandora's energy; as such the swarm started laying siege to Haven. Then a rumor was started that a male had found a part of the long-lost Pandora Code document, and had deciphered it, finding a map showing all the places of the other parts of the Pandora Box. This was enough to attract the attention of many different knights, both good and evil. This was truly an adventure to be told for generations to come.
