Okaaayy... I come back to check up on how a few of the fan fics and the epic comic, Embrace the Dark, are/is going, and I see barely anyone that I know/knew is either gone or scarce. And then a dictatorship on the roleplays? I knew the forum was dying, but this is fairly horrible. I see a million fanfics with badass, robotic, emotionless characters. Whatever happened?
Is anyone I know left?

Well, I don't really know you...
Though I did go on the forums as... someone. Not gonna say who, I used that account months ago when my writing sucked and my personality generally sucked, but I'm better now.
I agree about what you said about roleplays nowadays. To be honest, I feel like the new roleplays constantly popping up will only fall within a matter of time and include a cast of annoyingly overpowered characters, the creators of which refuse to nerf them or make them a little weaker (there are exceptions), and characters that are just plain boring. Roleplays here should just be done away with, if you love roleplaying that much, do it somewhere else, there's plenty of places that you can find. Modding roleplays seems to have become this bandwagon that is surviving somehow, but not going very well. Even good modders seem to be brought down by the amount of bad roleplayers here, so now it's just gotten to the point where we're beating a dead horse.

If anyone is wondering what I did in my absence, not that anyone really cares, I wrote a few starting points to non-SK stories and I am currently writing an SK one I WILL finish.
