I'd like to ask a question: Is the Acheron a possible alternative to the Gran Faust? I can see why people use the Gran Faust, but why doesn't anyone use the Acheron (or at least I never see anyone use it, it's all Div. Avenger, Gran Faust, Final Flourish, status inflicting bombs and Polaris/Alchemer)? Before anyone asks, the reason why I'm asking is because of attack speed (At the moment I only have quick strike modules, not elites).

PvP or PvE?
Are you talking about PvP or PvE? Many people use Acheron in PvE. My detailed (but PvE-oriented) comparison of the two swords can be found here.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that wiki page. Thanks for that, guess I won't be so different if I use the Acheron after all then. (Oh, and yes, it's mainly PvE). Again, thanks for the answers.

Regular monsters aren't exactly fast, specially those pink cubes that you'll want to kill with a shadow sword.
There's nothing wrong with a plain Faust.
But there isn't anything wrong with Acheron either.
