The Optimal Team?

I propose that the following is one of the most well rounded teams for dungeon exploration.
Team Member 1 (The Runner):
Weapons:
Undecided
Shield:
Omega Shield
Armor:
I've heard of a Quicksilver set that boosts Movement speed and if so then I'd definitely get that. Otherwise I'm undecided here.
Helmet:
Quicksilver or undecided
Strategy:
-To ball up the enemies by running around and around them and then leading them to the other members.
-To disarm spike traps and to generally figure out puzzles so the team progresses safely. (For instance in one of the Fiend levels there is a spike trap room that becomes quite dangerous if multiple people attempt to do it at once as they spike each other accidentally.)
-To block incoming fire for the other members of the team, specifically the bomber and other non-melee
- - - - -
Team Member 2 (The Bomber):
Weapons:
Graviton Vortex
Shield:
Undecided
Armor and Helmet:
Any demo set preferably attempting to decrease charge time by as much as possible.
Strategy:
-Vortex the enemies that the Runner pulls to him
- - - - -
Team Member 3 (The Sword):
Weapons:
*The sword which can best take advantage of Graviton Vortex, likely a 360 charge attack sword
Shield:
Undecided
Armor and Helmet:
Primary focus on boosting up the DPS from that charge attack
Strategy:
-Spin attack the enemies the Bomber traps to deal mass damage to multiples
-Quick elimination of single targets
- - - - -
Team Member 4 (The Gunner):
Weapons:
A plethora of guns so the right damage can hit the right enemies.
Shield:
Undecided
Armor and Helmet:
Primary focus on boosting ranged DPS to eliminate stragglers.
Strategy:
-Fast gate/switch opener
-Distracting healers and other prime targets (perhaps Shock weapons would be good)
-Finishing off targets
- - - - -
I could see this team handling most situations except perhaps for some bosses if they require a significant amount of dps within a short time. The Runner will always split off from the group if the path diverges to check if the route is worth going down or if it's just treasure. I realize an 'optimal' team in a general sense is kind of contradictory but I believe this is the most well-rounded team at the very least, given that the players can fulfill their roles.
but aside from rare occasions, even the best of the best have issues being so synchronized.

graviton vortex = no. shiver does pretty much the same thing, with a wider radius and no knockback defeating the purpose of the gravidos line. either that or nitronome to heard mobs.
I think you missed the point, insert gravition vortex on top of le hero man, hero man does circle swing as the monsters come to him.
though if this is the case, it's flawed since vortex holds monsters in for a minute and he'd be surrounded, maybe this wasn't the plan, but in any case shiver and graviton are hardly comparable, both crowd control, but no more similar then say.. agni and I dunno, deconstructor?
4X Nitronome with maxed CTR
Boom boom boom boom
Who needs variation when nothing touches you?!?

Well even if le hero man just comes close to them after the Vortex is initialized it should do a fair bit of damage, but perhaps I don't have enough experience with the bomb to really comment on it.
maybe maybe, well, vortex definitely lasts longer then plain, holding enemies in for like 5 seconds, plus it gets charge time medium at like level 10? so it can be good, I don't have a ton of experience either, but yeah honestly with the bomb, the bomber could just as easily be the sword wielder too,
but anyway~

You have to choose your equip around a specific stratum to call it optimal, "well rounded" will never be optimal for anything in particular.
Just nitpicking~
Also, vortex doesn't last as long as would be desirable. And enemies can get blown out of it with some charge attacks (calibur). Shiv is allmost allways better.
You could want to try combine em though. 1 guy pulls em with vortex while the other is ready to drop freeze at the same time. (the explosion might just break the ice temporarily, without pushing em out)
And ALL weapons get CTR medium on 10...
I use Graviton Vortex + Leviathan. I usually manage to get my charge on my Levi just before the vortex runs out, and by hitting them in the last second, I seem to null the knockback from the bomb. I also tend to destroy things with this method. So from my standpoint having two different people with these items seems somewhat redundant, as you could have one person do the job you're presenting for two.
My optimal team is Deslare and me. We're pretty in sync, and we complement each other well. He uses Ash of Agni, Dread Venom Striker, and the Combuster. So when I plant a vortex, he can DPS the hell out of the mob using his striker, or he can light them on fire with his combuster. We duo all the time, and we've even managed to defeat Vanaduke together. :3
1 Bomber, 3 swords, pew pew pew everything is dead from right click spam! Plus you can all charge across gun puppy ravines and still win.
