We've all heard of the Gauntlet right? That mission where you combat various types of monsters with the same status and damage type? Well hows about this?

A new Prestige mission, one that rotates with all your favourites. This mission will be different however in that instead of only worrying about protection against one type of attack, it will feature all types of monsters in the same room! That means you'd need protection against Normal, Pierce, Elemental and Shadow! Should you be brave enough to take on this mission, you'd be rewarded with 300 Prestige, and depending on how lucky you are, between 6-8k crowns (most of which is won at the end from a hefty supply of red boxes ).

Thoughts? Ideas? Backlashes? Things in between?

It'd just mean you'd need Chaos, two Wyrmwood bracelets, and some normal weapons.

Anyway, people would master it and suddenly just use it as another tool to cause inflation.

No matter how 'hard' it'll be, 6k on a single level is ridiculous and exploitable (go back to haven after collecting all the crowns without offcially completing the mission to do it again?).

And if it's a true challange, it should be a danger prestige mission.

They've done stuff to prevent that before, there'd be no problem with doing it again.

Since it's one level only, you could:

-restrict the party as soon as the elevator goes down
-have the enemies in the level drop no crowns/heat, only hearts/mats/vials
-have a second "treasure room" level like in danger missions
-register the mission as "completed" once you enter that level
-fill that level with enough boxes to equal whatever crown payout you want it to be

Oh, by the way. If you want all the damage/family types in one room... This had better be one firestorm of a big room.

What Klipik said gave me an idea, reskin the Gauntlet to have some sort of Unknown Passage variant? Would make a bit more sense for the monsters dropping nothing.

I see...

I see the views on this new 'exploitable' mission.

Perhaps then it should have an increased energy cost.... say 30-50 Energy? (per elevator btw)
