So I'm back from a couple months of quitting because I got kind of bored with the limitations of SK :p.
Some items that I left inflated into numbers that get me giddy so I've been thinking of ways to make this game fun again for me.

I'm sure it's not the first time this has been done, but what if I made a sort of...berserk set?

Chaos Cloak + Cowl
Swift Strike Buckler
True Love Pendants (x2)

and of course the weapons would compensate for any missing stats [ASI + CTR + DMG], but would it be worth it to MAX some of the armor?
Like for example is it worth buying a Normal Max Swift Strike, or will it break in one hit anyway? Will max shadow on the Chaos cloak even benefit me?

I like the idea of max stats and low health, But I don't want them TOO low to where If I get hit by a status trap (ex. fire) it means death.

why those trinkets?

Based on your phrase "speed run", I assume that you're talking about PvE, not PvP, right? Then why would you choose those trinkets? Why not go for more offense? By the way, consider Barbarous Thorn Shield, as a compromise between offense and defense.

Maxed UVs on Chaos are great, but expensive. We can't evaluate whether they're worth it to you, without knowing how you value things. For example, do you have 2 million crowns sitting around? Do you have tons of alternate accounts that can mass-craft Magic Hoods and Cloaks?

This thread probably belongs in the Arsenal forum, right?

If you have max CTR, ASI, and damage, then consider just not using trinkets. You can save yourself some crowns or energy.

Okay, but I'm wondering how many mist energy streams you have. Each of your mist streams can craft two 2-star items per day "for free". Then it becomes a question of how fast you want to get your Chaos gear. Do you craft slowly over many days, using only mist? Do you craft quickly over a single day, using lots of crystal energy? If so, do you plan to craft so much that the market can't absorb your unwanted UVs? Another fast plan is to buy UVs from Punch or from the Auction House, if you have a lot of crowns.

What mix of weapons do you plan to use? If you're using only one or two weapon types --- for example, swords and guns --- then you can get CTR, ASI and damage bonus nearly maxed out without even using UVs. This is the most economical plan, probably.

You sorta lost me lol. If I go through with this, I just plan to buy everything [Except for the Love Trinkets] at 2* with the MAX UV on it, and then get it up to 5*, shouldn't take that long. I have the CE needed for it already so that shouldn't be a problem. My only question was if the set I posted above was even worth making o:

Are you going to use multiple types of weapons and charge them often?
If all you'll do is swing a sword, then the extra power of Chaos is pointless. I've seen people do that.

I think the idea is to do the most damage in the shortest amount of time, and get out without getting touched. A true "Glass Cannon". Although, if you're going for that, I wonder why you're attempting to get MAX UV's on everything to just nullify the "glass" part.

When you asked whether it was "worth it", I thought that you were asking an economic question --- what the most efficient way to obtain this powerful set would be. But it turns out that you were asking whether the set is powerful? Yes, Chaos and Swiftstrike Buckler is extremely offensively powerful. How would it not be? It's also quite dangerous in terms of its status defense. So, whether you will like it depends on the kinds of levels you run (for example, Legion of Almire has no status, while Ghosts in the Machine is full of shock), how skilled you are, how laggy you are, etc.

You have still not answered my question (echoed by Little-Juances) about how many weapon types (sword, gun, bomb) you plan to use. That affects the issue of whether the poor status defense is "worth" the strong offense.

We're not trying to give you advice on weapons. We're trying to give you advice on armor to go with the weapons that you're using. That's why we kept asking.

For example, if you use only swords, then you can achieve CTR+6, damage+6, and ASI+4 on all swords without having any UVs (through Chaos, Chaos, Barbarous Thorn Shield, and two sword ASI trinkets).

If you use a mixture of swords and guns, then you can achieve CTR+6 and damage+6 on all swords and guns without having any UVs (through Chaos, Chaos, BTS, and one gun damage trinket). Then get ASI through your other trinket and UVs. If the only gun that you're using is Blitz Needle, then ASI is nice but not crucial.

And I swear I thought of everything :p. I forgot that Chaos had the damage bonus as well. Thanks for the heads up, and + I already have a Thorn shield so thanks again :D, saved me some money

I'm saying people bring their fancy chaos with a set made of GF, AP and a flourish and I'm like "dude, just wear your skolver"
Now, carriyng Acheron, DA and a Blitz is a different story.

Chaos isn't suited for every combination so I had to ask.
