I've seen this happen too many times.
Someone starts posting alot on the forums, they become recognizable, they're head inflates, and then they make and alt for posting on the forums with.
Does it have any purpose? Besides feeding the ego? No.
At least not that I'm aware of.
Feel free to enlighten me.
