5* Troika charge attack tweak

note:I do not own a Surdaruska and I assume Surdaruska is the same as Triglav in terms of the range and movement during the charge attack.

Currently...
It feels like I'm using somewhat of a mid-long range charge attack. I find myself aiming at enemies almost off the edge of the screen to the left and right. When you use Triglav charge, you move farther than a Troika, but you don't have increased charge-smash radius (feels kind of flat as far as 5* charge attacks go). You have to have pretty good aim to safely use the charge attack up close.

I propose this change...
The 5* would have the same movement distance as of a Troika and increase the smash attack radius such that the Triglav/Surdaruska will have the same range as before.

I dunno, I feel that this change would give the 5* Troikas more oomph and awesomeness.

I find the Sudaruska charge attack brilliant as it is but the huge stepping feels a bit risky at times. Protip: place an EV and charge your sword without moving from where you placed the bomb. If you're surrounded enough, you'll execute the charge where you stand. Maybe not such a good idea with Triglav, though.

I have to second this idea.

I have to second this idea. As an official brute-type player, I naturally went with the
troika line. I currently have a Khorovod, which I will, of course, eventually try to upgrade
to a Sudaruska...except that I don't really see the point. Going by the wiki/gameplay
videos, it doesn't look like there's actually that much of a jump in damage, and the
charge, while a lot more awesome-looking, works the same in practice.

How about if instead of just increased blast radius, we give them each something like this:

Sudaruska: Charge attack leaves a small glowing, fiery crater (Like Vanaduke's mace) which
deals elemental damage to and ignites enemies. It dissapears after a few seconds.

Triglav: Instead of jsut an icy blast, the charge attack first creates a tornado which pulls in enemies
from a distance, followed by the ice blast itself.

@Aiden Curry Face

Sure, I can see if I can get it recorded. Maybe just in GTH though.

@Krakob
Yeah I agree the charge attack is brilliant to use, but I almost feel like I'm trying to aim a gun a group of enemies with the charge attack. The 5* charge attacks gain distance but no width...

@Gent
"works the same in practice"
I'm not sure about that, I believe that the 5* charge attack makes you move a little farther compared to the 4*, thus making it a little more tricky to use.

Your idea for Triglav incorporates a Vortex bomb, and the Triglav charge... Makes the Vortex bombs somewhat irrelevant. The Sudaruska is quite... underpowered seeing that the enemies will be flying off into the distance. Finally, no where in the game does it suggest that Triglav has to do with wind and Sudaruska with fire.

Your going to buff the second most powerful sword charge in the game?
This is just lol.
Don't nerf the dash distance, I use it to avoid attacks while simultaneously dealing damage all the time.

The "Wind and fire" thing is somewhat extrapolated.

I got the idea that the ice blast is actually a burst of arctic wind somehow
emitted from the triglav.

As for the sudaruska...well, its charge "breaks" the ground, and you're hitting with
tremendous force, force = friciton, friction = heat.

erm

you mean that if you put a force on something that thing might go on fire? friction=> heat, but force not=> friction.
besides, the desctiption of suda says blunt force trauma, and blunt force trauma must stay.

Well okay, what would make a good "blunt force trauma" enhancement? Perhaps flying rocks bombs
that deal stun? Yeah, that sounds quite forceful and bluntly traumatizing.
