Basic rules:
1. I am the (Clockworks) Tunnel Master. Period. However, I can hand these duties to anyone of my choice.
2. Anyone can join the game, but if there is a dungeon in progress, they cannot join the party.
3. Most NPCs (such as enemies or shopkeepers) will be under MY control. Exception: players can control a NPC if I clearly state "so and so has joined so and so's party!" or some thing similar, this means you now control them.
4. Anyone caught cheating or backstabbing their friends will be put in SOMO (like cryogenic sleep, but without the ice; your character just lies in sleep for thousands of years.... or until I decide to wake you up. Whichever comes first.) Exception: Attacking other players is allowed if there is a valid reason. Example, Player A was abused by knights, so when he sees a knight he automatically attacks them regardless if they are a player or NPC.
5. Currently, You may choose to be either a knight, or a gremlin (actually a full list of what you can be is nailed at the bottom of this initial post). If you want to be something else, please provide an plausible back story to explain why a race of what evers (say, devlites for example) would be backing up the knights. Additionally, your character must be a creature from Spiral Knights.
6. On top of that, you only start with the starting gear for your race. These details are given in the race list at the bottom.
7. Unless you are in a dungeon (not waiting for one), You may create a new character at anytime. Be aware, however, that doing so will result in you losing any cool stuff you have. If you attempt to change your race while in a dungeon, you will be put in SOMO.
8. No changing species/race during a level you are in, you may swap races after you complete a level but you will have a reset if you do so.
9. No decoy spam unless it actual makes seance. Example, "I left a holographic projector so if any one is fallowing me I may hear them attacking it, sadly the thing can be buggy at times making the picture blink so people may notice." Said the mecha knight who was using his LAST holoprojector that he had to CRAFT.
10. No "pocket dimensions" or "super maker thing" or any bs "I has all of the things" things.
11. No copying other people, this means if player A chooses to be the "last survivor of a terrible explosion at a gremlin compound" you can't copy his back story. Creativity people, use it. EXCEPTION: if the person who made it originally agrees to allowing you use it, this means both of you are in some way related and explain how it happened.
12. No omnipresence! You can't just be were ever you want even ever you want. If you want to join someone who has about 5 turns of traveling on them you can't just "appear" behind them, you can try and find them but this can take some time.
13. No making things bloddy perfect, so if some thing goes wrong don't go rewrite it in your next post into the perfect little event for you, deal with the cards you have been dealt, don't draw over the numbers.

Backstory:I left my Hurkat family to have an adventure.... I also wanted to NOT die.... again. I've always wanted to see the world outside of the Clockworks. I've always wanted to see this so-called "Haven". Like the Mewkat, I don't attack knights. Unless they attack of course. Unlike other Kats, I don't charge in for the kill. Instead, I disappear into the ground and appear behind the enemy, then attack. I'm technically a ninja.
Dungeon Master's Notes: I like the back story. Also I don't want you abusing your ground trick, so if you stay in an object for too long you start to get stunned and it gets stronger the longer you are there. This is to keep you from just hiding in the floor until any thing you don't like leaves as you could fall into coma if you stay in some thing too long.

Back story:came into this world out of a mechaknight kit. Jelly Cubes & Lichen:
Nothing but the slime on your... Wait, do you even HAVE a back?
Gravahr:
Cannot wield swords and most guns.
Excellent bombers! Bombs that deal your elemental type do bonus damage.
On the topic of bombs, Gravahrs start with proto bombs.
Can emit a cloud of elemental smoke depending on type, but use with caution as this may leave you weak and vulnerable.
Chromalites:
Cannot wield guns and bombs.
The bigger the sword, the better off you are! (Though you start with a proto sword).
Very slow, and not very bright.
Odd markings and tattoos make them resistant to a certain status effect depending on colour.
Kleptons:
Able to pick locks and pick pockets
Kinda weak.
Don't feel too bad, you can attack with your tail!
And you can turn (semi) invisible!
Broad Hives:
Can reform their various body parts into various shapes and sizes, from swords to rocket launchers! (Okay, that last part was a stretch)
Or you can throw parts of yourself.
Can self-destruct, or cause pieces of themselves to blow up (hmmm.... Maybe the rocket launcher part isn't that much of an exaggeration)
You don't die from self destruct, your body just gets shattered, and then you need to reform.
Can grow spikes out of their body! Rawr!
Can convert nearly anything they pick up into a material, and therefore have little use for crafting
Mewkats:
Can fly around and bite people! Like a ninja...
Higher evolved mewkats of any kind can shoot projectiles. BUAAAGGGHHH!!
Lumbers:
BIG, and sloooooowwwwwww......
