Has anyone noticed that there arel ike... ALOT of jobs that gremlisn could have? i mean, how many do they have?! and a "GEAR SAGE"? Ok, its time we discuss this, i mean, what OTHER jobs do they have?

Following Jobs: CRIMSON ORDER, Thwacker, Mender, Demolition, Scorcher, Incinerator, Ghostmane, Mortarfire(?), Mining, Lumberer, GEAR SAGE?!, ...

WHAT ELSE DO THEY HAVE?!

And this is a Thread to discuss their jobs and what others they possibly have

Oh no no no. You can't group

Oh no no no. You can't group the Crimson order together like that, as each of the Nine have a different role. We only know of two: Seerus and Herex. Seerus is the grandmaster arsenal and designs the gremlin weaponry. Herex, on the other hand, has a different role, and from what we currently know, makes biological weapons and deals with chemicals. So Herex is the biochemist. And just like Seerus had the mortafires and ghostmanes under his order, I would suspect that there are more unique gremlins under the ordier of Herex, and the other seven who have not been revealed. You also need to consider the Grinchlings and the Schemer, Razwog. The reason I lump them together is very simple.

Look at the fur of Razwog, and then the fur of the grinchlin stalkers. Both are greenish. Why is that? Well, I believe that Razwog may have been a sort of radical or member of a cult or faction within the gremlin society, that perhaps dye their hair green. I don't really have any evidence, but why would a schemer like Razwog, and strange green grinchlin's appear out of nowhere, and have that strange green to their fur? Just my speculation.

Well ...

When Operation Crimson Hammer was first announced and we saw pictures of the gremlins later to be known as Mortafires, my first thought was "all right, anti-tank gremlin infantry!" It turned out to be small infantry mortars, which was kind of disappointing. If they ever do add in gremlins using a handheld version of the Rocket Puppy I would be overjoyed, especially if the Spiral Order reverse-engineered the technology like they did with the Pulsar. (I know all those giant steel hedgehogs lying around the Grand Arsenal and the "arena" missions are for something ...)

If that's insufficient, they might as well go ahead and "borrow" from various RTS games. Certainly freeze, shock, and poison variants of the Gremlin Scorcher would be welcome, with that last one just begging to make Compound 42 even more dangerous.

There's bound to me a giant stalker, a giant mender, a giant demo, and maybe a giant knocker in the Crimson Order. We've already had a giant thwacker and a giant scorcher. Just saying.

There should be either a cloning facility or breeding party somewhere.
We've killed millions of gremlins yet they keep coming..

I think Gear Sage might be an old and/or experienced Gremlin mechanic, or the Gremlin name for an Inventor for mechanics. Just a guess, though. I think I've another idea for what it might be, but I don't know how to put it into words.

EDIT: perhaps one that creates the AI for the constructs? I'm going to check Wikipedia for the term/title "Sage" and I'll see if I can come up with more possibilities.

EDIT 2: I'm aware that, since we're dealing with Gremlins, the way we use the term "Sage" might not apply here (Gremlin "Schemers" are engineers, if I recall correctly). Still, "Sage" could mean "Teacher", although the Gremlins seem have a pretty good possibility of having the inborn ability to build complex machines.

EDIT 3: According to Nick, "He's a special guy, but his title (Schemer) basically means 'engineer' in gremlin terms." -Razwog's Wiki page.

They don't actually have any "combat" units, it's just all their clockworks maintenance equipment is dangerous.

Either that, or the Gremlins could double up as improvised soldiers, while being primarily workers.

EDIT: Just found the description for the Metal Sonic Mask: A sinister looking mask crafted by a mechanical genius whose ability is said to rival that of even the greatest gremlin Gear Sages.

Gear Sages are definitely mechanics.

All gremlins are mechanics. Gear Sages are just the inventors that create most of the technology that the Gremlins use.

You forgot the most obvious Gremlin role: King/Architect. You know who Tinkinzar is, right?
There's really nothing to think about any other gremlin classes if we have no proof.

ZE GOGGLES DO NOTHING!

But in all seriosity (yes, you heard me, SERIOSITY) I think Gremlins probably have the same kind of jobs other humanoids in the SK 'verse do, especially in the Great Colony and Emberlight where Gremlin civilians could reasonably be. And all of them are probably capable of kicking your [REDACTED]. Never mess with Gremlin Plumbers or Gremlin Cameramen.

...Cursed Puns... ANYWAY... If gremlins somehow got into Minecraft, i can GUARANTEE you that some scorchers will be in the Nether, Demos working with Creepers, Thwackers, Menders, and Ghostmane Stalkers with Endermen, and i can LITERALLY GUARANTEE that 1 Membe rof the crimson order will have the title of ENDER-TECH or something!
