Backstory: One day a member of the Crimson Order, known only as The Professor, was wandering the Clockworks when he discovered a nest of creatures he called dragons. Some of the larger dragons were guarding multiple smaller dragons he called dragonites. The dragons appeared to be injured and were still defending their nest from weird attacks coming out of no where. The Professor decided to see if he could find a way to help the dragons, and to find a way to heal them, then turn them into monsters. After he got closer the attacks stopped and the dragons calmed down. The Professor realized the injuries were far worse then he had seen before. He decided to install mechanical devices to the dragons, turning them into a partially organic, partially mechanical beings. He had no idea what would come to pass afterword. The dragons powers are far stronger, but they had also become out of control monsters. Realizing what he had done he started to run away but was soon surrounded by the dragons. Soon a large head came down from the sky and swallowed The Professor in one big bite. He was never seen again.

Realizing what had happened, King Tinkinzar sent out a distress signal to Spiral HQ, telling them that one of the members of the Crimson Order has disappeared and some of the gremlins in the area report seeing weird flying creatures heading towards the other levels of the clockworks. The recon knights soon report the same thing before their signal dies completely. Agent Kora decides to allow highly trained knights to enter the area and figure out whats going on, before anymore lives are lost.

This will involve many new monsters.
The dragons will be a beast/construct hybrid. The names and status effects are as follows:
Dragon/ite: No status
Charred Dragon/ite: Fire
Vile Dragon/ite: Poison
Chilled Dragon/ite: Freeze
Silver Dragon/ite: Shock
Death Dragon/ite: Curse (highly rare, till final levels) (will be replaced by Dragons in T1)

Their looks will be as follows: (artwork needed)
Dragon/ite: A large creature that appears to have the drake scale mail/helm (T1), the Wyvern Scale Mail/Helm (T2), or the dragon scale mail/helm (T3) on, along with large wings on their backs. Highlights/eyes orange.
Charred Dragon/ite: Same as before, highlights/eyes are red.
Vile Dragon/ite: Same as before, highlights/eyes are green.
Chilled Dragon/ite: Same as before, highlights/eyes are blue.
Silver Dragon/ite: Same as before, highlights/eyes are white.
Death Dragon/ite: Same as before, highlights/eyes are black. (does not spawn in T1 or T2)

The attacks for each dragon are as follows: (All dmg is pure special or mixed special)
Key: E=Elemental, P=Piercing
Dragon/ite: Fire breath: No status: Orange Fire: Deals E. Wing Dash: Deals E/P: Deals Stun. Bite: No status: Deals P.
Charred Dragon/ite: Fire breath: Fire Status: Red Fire: Deals E. Wing Dash: Deals Stun/Fire: Deals E/P. Bite: Fire Status: Deals P.
Vile Dragon/ite: Fire breath: Poison Status: Green Fire: Deals E. Wing Dash: Deals Stun/Poison: Deals E/P. Bite: Poison Status: Deals P
Chilled Dragon/ite: Fire breath: Freeze Status: Blue Fire: Deals E. Wing Dash: Deals Stun/Freeze: Deals E/P. Bite: Freeze Status: Deals P
Silver Dragon/ite: Fire breath: Shock Status: White Fire: Deals E. Wing Dash: Deals Stun/Shock: Deals E/P. Bite: Shock Status: Deals P
Death Dragon/ite: Fire breath: Curse Status: Purple Fire: Deals E. Wing Dash: Deals Stun/Curse: Deals E/P. Bite: Curse Status: Deals P

Attacks will work as follows:
Dragon:
Fire Breath: Dragon opens it's mouth and sprays fire of the corresponding color, can hit many players.
Wing Dash: Dragon leaps into the air and tucks wings around body, then dashes towards player/s while spinning.
Bite: 3 bites in a row, homes onto player/s like snarb bites

Dragonite:
Fire Breath: Opens mouth and sprays smaller fire of the corresponding color, can only hit one player.
Dragonites cant wing dash.
Bite: 1 Bite, homes onto player./s.

They have 2 parts that can be attacked, the body and the wings. The body is weak to elemental and resists piercing: Its defeat disables the bite attack. The wings are weak to piercing and resist elemental: Upon defeat wing dash is disabled. Once both sections are defeated the dragon/ite is defeated.

NOTE: In T1/T2 Death Dragon/ites will NOT spawn, they will be replaced by regular Dragon/ites. In T1 All status dealing Dragon/ites will be replaced by regular Dragon/ites.

There will be 7 levels in the mission set, 4 being regular levels, one being the lobby, one being the boss, and one being a treasure floor.

Level 1: A Firey Approach.

It will start off similar to the beginning of OCH, Feron will be standing at a large table with a map on it, there will be other NPC's in the area, interacting with Feron will start the following dialouge.

Feron: Well (knight name here), those are some fireworks out there!
Knight: Indeed they are. Whats the situation?
Feron: Something or someone is shooting fireballs at us, and those dragons are so territorial! We can't advance without being blasted or eaten, or both! We also think the artifact that guy Razwog stole from you is in there!
Knight: The artifact! How did that end up here?
Feron: Apparently The Professor was trying to figure out how to use it against us, before he disappeared that is. Now those dragons have it and SOMETHING is obviously leading these dragons, they are just too organized to be operating on their own!
Knight: How can I be of assistance?
Feron: I need you to get in there alive, shut down that artillery, recover the artifact, then kill whatever is leading these dragons! That should allow us to get in there and kill the remaining dragons!
Knight: You can count on me Feron!

After that will be a large walkway and about halfway through 1 Dragon, and 3 Dragonites will spawn. After that there will be a large room with a pathway on the left and right side, guarded by doors, along with a pathway at the top, guarded by 2 Gold Doors. At the top of the room 1 Dragon/Dragonite of each type will spawn. At the top left and the top right of the room a red rover will spawn, along with a Rocket Puppy in the center. Once all enemies have been killed the doors on the left and right will drop (whenever there are non-respawning enemies in the main room there will be monster doors guarding the exits to the room.) These will lead to a room each.

Will explain left first: A large room with a key in the center, guarded by doors on each side of it. On the whole edge of the room, minus the edge you enter through for the party button, there will be fire pits, there will also be fire pits leading up to the key area. Once party button is pressed a Monster Door will pop up on the exit, and the doors around the key will become Monster Doors There will be 5 waves: Wave 1: 1 Charred Dragon and 3 Charred Dragonites spawn in the upper left section. Wave 2: In the center of each section a red rover will spawn, guarded by 1 Charred Dragonite each. Wave 3: 2 Charred Dragons and 6 Charred Dragonites. Wave 4: Red Rovers spawn in previous spawn locations, guarded by 3 Charred Dragonites each. Wave 5: 4 Charred Dragons and 8 Charred Dragonites spawn. After all waves are beaten the doors will lower and the key can be grabbed, then 1 of the doors near the top of the main room will be able to be opened. Upon re-entry of the main room 6 Charred Dragons and 12 Charred Dragonites will spawn in the center of the room.

Now the right side. The format will be the same as the left side, but the fire traps will be replaced by *Gasp* shock traps! The spawns will be the same, but the Red Rovers are replaced by Sparkies, the Charred Dragon/ites are replaced by Silver Dragon/ites.

Upon re-entry of the main room 6 Silver Dragons will spawn top, along with 2 Death Dragons. Dragonite respawners will pop up in the bottom right/left corners. In front of the entrance used when the room was first entered (bottom center). The left/right side in front of the gates to the other rooms, and top right/left corners till the main dragons that spawned are beaten dragons that spawned are beaten, there is NO time delay between the time a respawning enemy is defeated, and the time it respawns. (waves in the main room will spawn after the corresponding room is beaten (the death dragons will always be in the final wave, along with the respawners. For instance if the right side is done first then 6 Silver Dragons and 12 Silver Dragonites will spawn after that room, and if the left side is done last then 6 Charred Dragons will spawn, along with the Death Dragons and the Dragonite Respawners will spawn after that room.) Once that is beaten and both the gold doors at the top have been unlocked there will be a hallway leading to the lift and 10 Red Treasure Blocks, along with a mineral of each color.

Level 2: Entrance to the Dragon Den

Upon entry of the level the player/s will find a Dragonite NPC in front of a door, upon interaction the Dragonite will say:

Friendly Dragonite: Far down this path is the entrance to the Dragon Den, in which a majority of the dragon horde is.

Knight: Good to know, but I see no entrance! Why is that so?

Friendly Dragonite: That is because only Dragons or Dragonites can enter the Den. When I realized that some of the surface dwellers had come to retrieve a strange device, and free the dragons from a large creature, I decided to come out here and help you find the entrance to the Den, others inside the Den will help you find your way around it.

Knight: Speaking of that large creature, what is it?

Friendly Dragonite: I do not know, all I know is it's far stronger than any Dragon you will face.

Knight: Well how can you help us get into the Den?

Friendly Dragonite: I can lead you to the Den, and open the door, for you. There is one problem though, the creature has placed many rouge Dragon/ites to prevent anyone from getting into the Den. If you can kill them I can get to the door and open it long enough so you can get inside.

Knight: That I can do!

Friendly Dragonite: Good, be warned though, if I die your hopes of getting into the Den are very small.

Once ALL players have talked to the Friendly Dragonite the door will open, and a health bar will appear at the top of the screen labled Friendly Dragonite and the Dragonite will begin to walk forward. Along the way random Dragon/ites will spawn, their first target will be the Friendly Dragonite. (Note: The Friendly Dragonite CAN attack using the normal Dragonite attacks, but they will deal half as much dmg) I will let OOO decide how long the path will be. Once the party makes it to the end the Dragonite will stop and say:

Friendly Dragonite: This is the entrance to the Den! Defend me as I open the hidden door.

After that one respawner will appear for each type of Dragon and each type of Dragonite. It will take about 5 minutes for the Friendly Dragonite to open the door. Once the door is open the respawners will stop and the party and the Friendly Dragonite can enter the Den, which is revealed to be a large cave, the party will find a large walkway, with 6 Red Treasure Blocks along each side of the path, and one mineral of each type at the end. Along with 4 Heart Blocks, which will spawn 1 Large Heart and 1 Small Heart each. The party can then enter the lift. Once the party is on the lift the Dragonite will try and get on but a large head will come down from the elevator shaft and swallow it whole. The Lift will then go down into the Dragon Den.

If the Dragonite dies along the path it can be revived by 1 player, taking half their health and filling the dragonites health, but it will take 1 Minute for him to revive.

Level 3: The Dragon Den. coming soon...

Comments and a name/price for the expansion mission are appreciated!

These "larger dragons", would they be an enemy or boss? You said they were protecting dragonites. What role would the dragonites play in the expansion mission (exp. M)? You also state that "some of the gremlins in the area report seeing weird flying creatures heading towards the other levels of the clockworks." Are you suggesting that we would also get a new Tier 3 boss besides vanaduke?

And what would the overpowered reward be. :)

yah no.

First off, for all we know Tinkinzar could just be a cover up, a fake person, to keep the spiral order form focusing the only proven member of the Crimson Order, war master Seerus(<3). Second, they are fighting the Spiral Order so why would they give them a tip on a new enemy? out of hope they would help save a member of the Crimson Order?

I like it apart from the part where Tinkizar asks us for help. I think he would rather see his entire Great Colony be burned to the ground by dragonfire than call Spiral HQ for help.

Derpuraptor strikes back

I agree with you on that, Klipik.

How about this: When the SK finally help professor and bring him to safety, he betrays them?
Also, please explain these "flying heads" and "attacks coming out of nowhere".

eh... without take in mind the emberlight gremlins...

i dont believe "Crimson Order" Gremlins would "help" creatures. i would believe more if they see a wounded creature they would find a way to implement technology on them and use them for their advantage like bionical war machines. but not help them.

when you said "oon a large head came down from the sky and swallowed The Professor in one big bite. He was never seen again." for some reason idk why i imagine Black Viper head coming down from the sky. maybe too much Contra 4...

Now about have Dragon enemies (preferably being part of the Beast family because they NEED MORE ENEMIES ON THEIR FAMILY) i wouldnt have trouble with that. but the story of your expansion need some tweaks. because Crimson Order gremlins arent that kind of "good guys"

Explanation

First of all Inferno, the "flying heads" and "attacks coming out of nowhere" are part of the "larger" storyline. These are actually the final boss of the expansion mission, but this will be revealed later, as the Great Colony and Spiral HQ don't know who or what the heads are, or what in the clockworks is going on. Now for blade, the larger dragons are monsters, as i said before the boss is a MUCH more powerful creature. The dragonites are actually baby dragons and will be weaker then the others, and they will also be a part of one of the levels. Also no one knows what happened to the professor, he will be involved with the objective of the mission, and the storyline. This wont involve a new Tier 3 boss, this will be a T1, T2, and T3 expansion mission (kinda like OCH). And the reward i will get to later. Also Tiinkinzar is realizing that these biotic dragons could become a large threat to the great colony. Also (forgot to put this in) the Professor was carrying with him a rather powerful device (not saying what it is, but we have seen it before) that was stolen from the Spiral Knights, and they want it back. I'm actually working on the other part of this, as this will be a multipart post. So more will be revealed later! Also once i do post the other parts i would like help for the name of this! Also sweet, the plan WAS to use the bionic dragons to attack haven, but tinkinzar isn't revealing this because the Spiral Knights wont help him, and the family for the dragons will be revealed later. And the REASON Spiral HQ is helping them is because they don't want large, flying, bionic dragons running rabid in the clockworks eating other knights. And they don't want them to "breed" more dragons, creating a larger problem. They want to keep these dragons under control.
